The dog was scanned at the point of being seized, and in line with our standard practices we rescanned the dog upon entry into kennels. NO microchip was found. we do a full body scan from head to tip of tail, and all over the body, as we appreciate that depending upon the origin of the dog the chip could be in a different position than that of a chip implanted in the UKLast edited: 2013-01-23 22:44:12 by Dog Control Solutions Ltd

This dog as far as I know was checked by the approved out of hours dog warden for the area Dog Control Solutions. They are an experienced reliable out of hours and I am sure they thoroughly checked to see if the dog has a chip. I suggest if anyone has any concerns they contact Dog Control Solutions as they have legally rehomed the unlclaimed terrier.

I understand this dog has been rehomed, but from reading various posts on Facebook, he was check by a vet for a microchip the day I registered Guinness's. my concern is that, Guinness's microchip information could have been entered after the vets appointments had already been attended. I have requested via the new owners sister on Facebook to ask the vet to scan for one again. Thank you!Last edited: 2013-01-23 21:49:13 by SusieBarber13

Hi, I just thought i would let you know that my sister took Jack to the vet yesterday and they aged him between 12 and 18 months max. He is healthy and his teeth are in great condition and his skin is fine he just needs loving. He has had his first jab and is booked in to be neutered and micro-chipped. He is very happy and loves his new bed and home. He does not understand toys but he will learn to play. Thank you all and i hope more dogs have happy endings like jack has!

I have some very happy news about this gorgeous little fellow. When i showed my sisters the photo of him one of them fell in love straight away. She has kept on about him everyday, so today I took my sister to meet him at the kennels and she fell in love with him even more. We signed all the paperwork and my sister is now a the very proud owner of Jack. We are a dog loving family so i can assure you he will have an amazing forever home. A very happy ending.
