- I was alerted to this gorgeous found girl very late last night and informed she was taken to PDSA Huyton (needed Pam to confirm it was the same dog).
As she was picked up in WN8 she comes under the West Lancs DW and should go to Leigh C&D's Home. The PDSA in Huyton L36 comes under Knowsley DW, dogs in Knowsley are taken to Halewood RSPCA.
Messaged the Knowsley DW late last night to make him aware of her and also spoke to him first thing this morning and later in the afternoon. I tried to get in touch with the West Lancs DW they were not in the office. Spoke to the PDSA and they informed me she was still there and they could not get in touch with DW, asked them what number they were ringing and it was actually the Out of Hours AW the 0845 number, informed them they should ring the West Lancs DW on the day number. After speaking to them I managed to speak to West Lancs DW half an hour before they were due to finish. They followed it up and rang PDSA and arranged to go and pick her up, she will go through them and be taken to Leigh.
Thanks a million to the West Lancs DW for, following it up and going to pick her up out of your core hours and ringing back with the update. Thanks also the Knowsley DW re our discussions today.
Sure there must be an owner out their looking for her. I'll email Leigh and make them aware she is registered on DogLost.
Keeping everything crossed she is back home soon. x - 2013-01-07 17:34 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- Hello Jan I took her to the PDSA in Hutyon as I couldn't keep her at home they were going to scan her and notify the dog warden as I had no out of hours numbers for this area.I have checked the internet for reports of lost dogs and found none that fitted her description. Pam

- I've shared her details on fb and on some of the Skelmersdale pages, someone has posted on 'BUY, SELL & SWAP (SKELMERSDALE)' that they have seen a dog like her being walked by a gent in his 30's.
They posted again and they think the person's dog has also been missing for about a week.
Thank you to everyone who is sharing her details, sure it is only a matter of time before we see her back with her family. x - 2013-01-06 22:39 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- I've cropped and rotated the photo, page will need to be refreshed to view it. She is a little cutie. x
