- Hi, I'm work at home on friday (in coventry) so could help with a search of the undergrowth (I work outdoors so weather no problem). Was she living rough in Bulgaria?

- Hi SueW - here I am :) finally have been able to log in thanks to my son ! Will go and check Birmingham pound and Kenilworth Dog Trust tomorrow and leave posters perhaps I can manage the RSPCA kennels as well if I have time - if not it will have to be Thursday ! One thought that doesn't leave my mind however is the vast area of undergrowth that lies to the side of Henley Green area where Susie went missing ! I have tried to get into it from Woodway Lane Playpark area but it is very dense ... though wonder if she could possibly have made a den in there to come out only at night time to look for food ( which would explain why there haven't been any sightings ) ?! But how to search that area I don't quite know as think it would have to be systematically " combed " through " to be certain that she is or isn't there ! but I am also putting posters up further afield now .... by way Sue - I haven't replied to your e-mail yet but will do most probably tomorrow ! Thanks for all your time , help and support xxxx

- Hi SueW - thanks for your help. I've just changed the account details and email address to my Mum's now and have texted her so she should be able to log in. I spoke with Mum earlier and agree that widening the search area is best now. Thanks again.

- D83 spoke at length to your mum. She needs help and can't get on here at the moment. If DL will widen the search area it would help. CV7 - 23 all surround the area Susie is missing. Maybe it would draw in some help for her? She has my number now and I have sent a few things that may help. I am about 40 minutes away, so not local for me but not impossible, however like you I work fulltime. Lets hope she shows soon, the more people who know the more likely she will be reported as seen. Also suggested the local papers if you can find out who they are or if Doglost can advise via their local people??

- Morning. As this dog has been missing for 9 days with no local sightings, would it be advisable to widen the search radius now?

- New photo added which is a little clearer and shows the blue collar she was wearing. There is a black name / ID tag displaying the name "Katniss", this was the name she had been given for paperwork purposes when rescued in Bulgaria. As far as I've been told she doesn't answer to the name Katniss.Last edited: 2013-01-09 16:28:00 by Regina

- I've asked my Mum to send me more photos and more recent as I think this was taken while she was being looked after prior to coming to England so a month or two ago.
Thanks for your help - 2013-01-08 16:55 Kath

- Susie is a rescue dog from Bulgaria and was being cared for by a foster home when she went missing. She is quite timid, but friendly. She's recently been spayed prior to coming to England. She isn't familiar with the surrounding area.
Contact phone numbers are:
1: the foster home
2: My Mum, who brought her to England
All help is greatly appreciated. The dog warden has been informed and we've been searching the area by car and foot. Posters will start to be distributed when I finish my night shift tomorrow.
