Fab. news Stay safe now pretty Tessxxx
Lou-BJ
Just got back from the Russell house - so great to see Tess curled up with Marc, she's a little stiff but hey if id been running about the countryside for 5 days i think id be too. Given her some homeopathic injury remedy & sure after an easy week she'll be fine. Tyler's mum Marc was throwing bits of tripe so that he could get her close enough to slip a rope lead around her neck. Anna let me know when u are free and me & George will be there. Big hugs to each and every one of you and must organise a meet up soon. Thank you all of you xxx
Cassie
Phewee. What a huge relief and definitely stay safe and warm from now on please Tess, and get to love your new home!!!! Well done everyone, what a great effort, don't you just love DogLost.

What a fabulous result - so very pleased Tess is safely back home and that she and her human 'family' don't have to shiver through more frosty nights. Brilliant news. x
digbysmum
Great news! Welcome home lovely Tess - stay safe now xxx
ClaireC
Great and just in time you have been found Tess with this awful weather just about to come in. Stay safe by the fire! xx
Nikki (Tyler's mum)
This is fantastic news so pleased for Tess and her owners. I'm slightly confused by the tripe part. Was George wearing the tripe or was it just being carried by Lou?
Jan
Was just about to wish Marc luck for tonight. Panicked when I could not find her on Lost. So pleased for you, giver her a big hug from me. (I am the lady he saw Monday night and spoke to Lou on Tuesday from the Vets) xx
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.

beardies in need
Tess is found Yippee. Located her area and lou walked her doggy walking friend George with tripe. Tess follwed and they grabed her. So very pleased and well done all for putting up with me going on ! And all you wonderful people who did so much. Lots love to all xx
julie russell
tess and marc have been reunited yah xxxx thankyou to everyone xx
Unknown
As tempting as it is to put more traps, I think you've just got to be patient, let her trust this one feed station, and not be in too much of a hurry. So hard! But the professionals know their stuff - Beardies and Doglost have done this loads of times. Keeping everything crossed! x
Spoony8
Ah that is fantastic news Lou and I will keep everything crossed. Have just got back from 5 hrs of leaflet posting for Molly. Tracker dog has followed scent again but she is just too clever, we are just not getting the sightings. Also if you want to do some more volunteering then you could also join Bella's Angels Facebook page which is for people who want to help x
Lou-BJ
ive been sending out lots of reiki, asking the universe to keep her safe and wrapping her in a protective golden bubble. This bit is going to be the slow bit but i have total faith that Marc will get there with Beardies advice,so please keep sending those positive thoughts coming x
Jackie
Instead of saying my prayer tonight for Tess I have just said it, (I'm not even very religious) but it seems to help:) Please let her be back home with her family very soon, it's looking promising. xx
Cassie
This is all such good and positive news. We're all on standby if you need extra hands, but will wait patiently in the hope of reading the best news soon.
beardies in need
A guy has just seen Tess asleep. So I'm certain its her who went to trap last night and sleeping as had food last night. She will go back to trap when hungry I'm sure. Where seen is not far frm trap. So can't stess enough stick with the advise x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Totally agree with you beardies in need this has to be taken slowly as we don't want to push her out of the area.
Lou thank you so much for your donation that's very kind of you x

beardies in need
Just spoke to Marc as concerned about too many traps going out. He didn't know anything about it. Max perhaps 2 traps but really at this stage just the one. More people more traps going down would just really scare her away. This take time so please don't rush it. He's doing everything right. Plus these other traps if hook type doors blow etc. We've done this for many years and safely found lots dogs I know your being kind but bear with us please x
Lou-BJ
PLEASE PLEASE can i stress if anyone has any traps can they not set them themselves as Marc & Beardies are the only ones setting the traps. Please contact Marc if he can borrow these traps from you. Many thanks x
julie russell
i will be at home until its my turn to do my shift of cage sitting. so if we have to go pick another trap up i can or gary can when he gets relieved from cage sitting.x
Lou-BJ
many thanks Helen & Ive also made a donation to DL as I feel you really do a wonderful job. We have more tripe defrosting as we speak & Mark(my hubbie) is getting more rabbits and liver for the traps. If everyone is on FB please add themselves to Help Find Tess. If anyone has extra traps to use please can they let Mark or Julie/Gary know so they can meet up with you. Many thanks x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
I agree beardies in need, if this was Tess taking the food from the trap she will be back, it's just a matter of time.
Lou thank you for offering to stay on as a helper, I will E-mail you at some point today x
beardies in need
My other half is going to meet Marc after work just to make sure trap now set correct x
Lou-BJ
Ahh that would be a great thing to do Beardies. There's quite a few pubs in snape & blaxhall. Will be great to put names to faces :-) thank you so so much Beardies for everything u are doing xxx
beardies in need
Heard from Marc this morn something went in the trap eat all the food but got out as the trap wasn't set correct. My other half has spoken to Marc also and talked him through how to set it correct. We have advised to keep the trap in same place if it was her she will go back as got a good meal. Have to stick at it. She will be found safe and go into the trap at some point I'm sure. When she do will all have to meet up in a local pub or doggy walk but with Tess on a lead for sometime ! That's what other folk do when dog is safe. Infact lots meet now all over the country on a regular basis. Lou to be a DL helper Helen will sort that out for u xx
Lou-BJ
Thank you so so much to everyone that has done loads to help, here's hoping tonight is a good night for Marc. Please can you let me know how I become a volunteer for other dogs missing in our area as I think you all do such an amazing job x
Lou-BJ
Here's hoping Marc gets his Tess tonight otherwise I'm out under the stars at some point & I can't see in the dark :-o Anna yes must get together - I'll bring George over so u can meet him xxx

beardies in need
Marc took the Large trap this afternoon along with the cover to make it look like a hedge. Plus the night vision. I felt for now one would be better. I did have 2 here the one marc has taken has found lots lost dogs all over the country. So really hope Tess soon go in it I'm sure she will but can take time. You are all very kind x

mathers22
Good luck everyone with the trap xx
Spoony8
Ah I'm SO pleased that mark has had a sighting and hopefully Tess will be home very soon. I also hope people pay attention to beardies in needs advice.
Lou-BJ
Thank you beardies in need you've worded it better than I could
beardies in need
Its kind of you all to help Mark, the best thing to now is to all back off so it dont scare Tess off to a different area. As I said not to call her which Mark did and she ran, but we think we know where she maybe sleeping so the trap will be set tonight and manned by Mark or Lou. She maynot go in the first night it can take a few days. Food stations will also be done in the area to keep there safe. If she move on its then will need help to see where shes gone to. Hope this all make sense. Hope shes safe very soon x Last edited: 2013-01-11 14:50:36 by beardies in need

Marc has just seen Tess but unfortunately she ran off, it was only a short call and hopefully he'll have great news when he calls back. He said she looked well. Facebook page has now been set up - Help Find Tess.

The Lab 47224 was found on the 5th Jan and Tess didn't go missing until the 7th so sadly not a match.

beardies in need
Lou could you ring me please 07765630182
Lou-BJ
Beardies in Need do missing dogs remember scents? I ask this as our dog and Tess were walked quite often together, so would she pick up his scent and would that help or scare her off. Would she recognise his bark or not? Would walking him in areas of sightings help or hinder her return. Many thanks for your help. Spoony8 no FB page but will set one up now as I remember this helped no end when ruby the Bull terrier went missing. Thank you ALL of you for the great support, Mark is greatly appreciative of everything that is being done to help find Tessa x
Spoony8
Hi, have you set up a Facebook page for Tess and asked everybody to share it? It has worked wonders for a couple of dogs that have been lost recently. If you need advice on that contact Bella's Angels page they know what to do. Good luck, sorry I can't help search but I'm already out on a search this weekend.
beardies in need
As theres be sightings this week could anyone bump this girl to he top please? Im the prson with he traps, nets, poles, night vision goggles. Please dont call the dogs name or whistle this will make the dog go in hiding. You need searchers doing a rota so theres always someone out looking All contact via text so you dont scare Tess by talking. BBC Radio Suffolk Mark Murphy show will put a plea out for helpers Ive done this in the past. People must know not to call or chase Tess but to text owner with sightings or chuck down smelly food like tinned sardines or liver or garlic chicken, then sit on ground or walk the other way. They tend to do a triangle an hea for farms which is often where we put traps. Really hope get sightings today, also look for areas where you can see perhaps a dog has been sleeping or dog poo with rabbit fur in n bones etc. But please no one must call or whistle she will just go further away. Good luck today. When you feel you know wheres shes staying then set the trap after leaving food stations to keep her there, at that point call off the search and just let the owners man the trap. This do all work as we have found so many lost dogs. Last year one in Wales we got after 28 days but nevr give up and poster like crazy.
bullt
I was down in Woodbridge this evening so drove slowly home quite late via Rendlesham, Blaxhall & Tunstall in hope of seeing Tess using roads or verges with less traffic about but no luck. I also drove to the end of Friday Street where the dog walkers all park and called & whistled for her softly but she remained hidden or was sheltering elsewhere. Hoping tomorrow will be hers & Mark's lucky day. x Last edited: 2013-01-11 00:53:14 by bullt
Lou-BJ
Mark is going back to Blaxhall at 0530 in the morning with lots of lovely smelling food and a BBQ, he has also spoken with the human trap lady. Can anyone recommend a dog medium please. Going to call Wattisham in the morning and see if the Apache's when they are on training over the area can look out for her. EADT will print a bit in Saturday's paper. Vets as far as Stowmarket have heard about missing Tess. Thank you so much for
everyone's support. Here's to a positive day tomorrow :-)

Cassie
Have you checked with rail transport too, as there is a railway line in the area? Worth calling Pampered Pets each day too.
Cassie
It may well be worth having a BBQ with sausages or bacon in the area where Mark thinks she might be. Might help to attract her in.

I'll be walking very early down at Snape/Iken Cliffs so will keep an eye out for you there. Have a friend staying at Blaxhall so I'll ask her too.
Lou-BJ
My husband and Mark's dad have been to old house on Friday street and car park at Friday st forest to see if Tess appears there. Mark is tonight sleeping in his car as he feels that Tess is still in the area where we looked at Blaxhall. Thanks Cassie for putting the poster at Forestry Commission office. we gave posters to a lady who lives in Blaxhall, a farmer in Iken and walk near iken cliffs. We stopped everyone on our journey that we saw. Tess seems to be returning to places where Mark has walked her.
Cassie
I took my dogs and walked at Iken cliffs, asking dog walkers etc. I then came back to forest on road between Aiken road and Shape road. I met a dog walker who walks his dogs in Blaxhall and Aiken twice a day, and early in the morning. I gave him a poster, though there is already one in the car park. I asked a couple of horse riders too. I then gave a poster in at Wantisden Farm office. The lady there knows of Tess owners via her daughter, and copied the poster to give each tractor driver one, and put one up in the office. I then went down to Staverton Thick and the back end of Friday Street. I gave a poster in at Rendlesham Forest Office and asked them to keep their eyes open for her.Last edited: 2013-01-09 18:30:29 by Cassie
Lou-BJ
so many sightings today and friend of ours saw her but took off again. Last sighting was at Blaxhall. Im sure i could hear her panting but it was dark. Mark owner and Mark (my husband) are still out there now, here's hoping they have good news when they come back. Thank you everyone for today x
carol
Searched all afternoon in the Iken and Snape area, pretty sure it was Tess, although she is being quite elusive. Postered Iken Cliffs and Snape. Another report late afternoon of a possible sighting in Blaxhall. Really hope she gets home soon.
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Good luck Lou, I really hope this is Tess and she will be home soon x
Lou-BJ

Gamekeeper at Glemham now aware, and Estate workers. Drove round Parham, Glemham and Sweffling this am, but saw NO POSTERS. Put them on footpaths, bridleways farm tracks as well as villages in the area. Have you contacted Parham Airfield? Will have another look round this afternoon. Stay safe Tess
Lou-BJ
hello Anna yes we do know each other :-)
Lou-BJ
Just got back from looking around Wangford with Mark. No joy, hopefully she's curled up asleep somewhere warm.
Lou-BJ
Thank you so much everyone for the support in helping find Tess. I know that Mark(her owner) is staying focused but inwardly falling apart. I've today contacted BBC radio Suffolk, I've put a poster in Rendlesham shop & vets. There is now a reward. Just spoken to Mark & he's had a call from someone who saw a lab running around near a12 @ wangford. The police were called & couldn't find the dog. Mark has been working that way so not sure if she's followed the car scent
Unknown
Just came back home through Sweffling and Great Glemham, via the back road, and also Chapel Lane. Nothing I'm afraid, but I'll go out again tomorrow and search. Stay safe Tess x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Thanks Cassie, I was going to E-mail you incase you hadn't seen Tess was missing as I know you are very familiar with this area x
Cassie
I'll put a link in to TROGS off road mountain bikers. They are also brilliant when trying to find lost dogs, particularly as they ride off normal tracks and at night
Cassie
I'll put a poster up at Acorn Dog Training in Tunstall tomorrow, and hand them out to everyone. People travel a long way to attend training, and I know some live in the Glemham area and walk at the Woodland Trust near Parham. I'll put one up in Melton vets, Orwell vets and/Smith Ryder Davies in Wood bridge.
Is it impossible Tess is trying to return to Rendlesham? Have you got neighbours there keeping an eye out for her? Has anyone put a poster up at the farm at Wantisden? They are very good at keeping their workers informed of any lost dogs, and their land is alongside Friday Street, an area Tess is familiar with.
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Thank you Sarah Jane for offering to help with Tess xx
Sarah Jane

The owner has just moved from Rendlesham to Great Glemham. Tess ran out the front door at about 10am today, Sighted 3 times in Chapel lane, last time at 3pm. Quite nervous especially of men but treats would help. New to area as only moved there Saturday.
Just awaiting more details and also a photo.
