Great to see a dog with commonsense to get back to the home in front of the fire with food and all sorts of nice goodies to hand. Bet your mum's pleased as well so she can shut the door! Stay safe Tilly xx

Told you they have homing pigeon blood in them, lol.
Not nice in this weather but doors must be left open 24/7. So pleased this girl made it home, hope others out there are as lucky.

She has just had some macaroni cheese and a couple of sausage rolls which she came close enough to take from my hand before settling down on the sofa beside me.

Pics sent to admin for you all to see.

Jenny and Tiga, you were amazing. You gave us so much information to work with today. Thanks also to Pamela, Julie, Garry, Julie, Andrea and John for mucking in today. Also thanks to Denise and Phebe for advice and practical help and all of you for the amazing support. Most especially thank you to Claire and Phil, her foster mum and dad. You rock!

Best wishes to all who are still waiting and hoping. My thought are with you as i sit here feeling blessed to have my girl home safe.

That is brilliant news! I've been following this case since the report went out. Would have joined a search on Monday if needed!

Great News, Tilly has just walked in to the house of her own accord and lay down by the fire. I can't get close to her at the moment but she looks ok

Thanks for the update Tillys_mum. It does sound like she's trying to get back herself. I hope she follows the smell of the cooking and walks through the door back to her home comforts.

Although we have not manage to get near Tilly today she had returned to the village over night and was seen a lot coming and going around the houses. We think we have worked out her 'triangle' and i am so grateful to friends and Garry for their efforts in tracking her and laying scent to draw her in.The best thing was when a little while ago I saw her only a few doors away from the house. She has been seen several times through the day making her way in and out to the next door gardens as though she was trying to make her way back and I saw her out the front only a few doors away. She had come into the front garden and taken some biscuits. I am now sitting here quietly with the door open and set up with rope to allow me to pull it closed without moving if she does venture in. A pot of corned beef and bacon soup is bubbling away on the stove and the fire on and heating turned up high. Thanks to everyone who has helped out yesterday and today. The hands on support and online advise has been so great. We have learned so much about what she is doing and how to move forward. Although it may take a few days I am confident she will make it home.

I'll head over to Atherstone this morning to have a look round. Any idea of the time and road she was last seen.

Hi, I'm the foster Mum, we've been out all day looking, with Jenny and Tiga helping us later. Tilly had moved down towards the canal later in the day, then onto one of the estates in Atherstone. We'll be back out tomorrow and Tillys new Mum and a friend are leafleting the area tonight. Thanks to everyone who has helped today.

Tilly is the foster dog of a very good friend of many of the Doglost coordinators. She went to a new home yesterday and was spooked in the garden and ran off. Please help us help Claire get her home. She is en route to the location now.
