- Date Reunited
- Other Info These dogs are a very rare breed. They are normally mistaken for German Shepherds, Husky's, Akitas as they have a dark face and they have curly tails. We have got to the point now we may not ever find her. All we are asking is if she is with some one and settled and safe as she has most likely been sold on by now. So please let us know any info thanks. PLEASE NOTE the picture is her brother who looks very similar to what she would look like now.

- Hi Everyone
Thank you so much for your support so far on the search for Charlie. I have uploaded the 2nd picture of Charlies brother. This should give everyone a better look at what Charlie would look like as she is very similar apart from size as she was smaller (with been a female). - 2013-01-16 22:53 BBKM

- Have spoken tonight to Dan who bred Charlie and he is going to send us a photo of an older dog so that we can see what Charlie will look like as an adult.
Charlie was 4 months old when she was stolen so will be almost 5 months old by now.
She could be mistaken for a GSD or Akita cross but the outstanding feature would be her curly Elkhound Tail.
Charlie could not have escaped by herself and her tracker collar which she could not have removed was found in nearby fields .
The police, dog warden and stray kennels have been informed .
Hoping this girl is found very soon

- I think it was her tracking collar that was found in the field nearby, that's how i read it anyway.

- Sorry to see that CHARLIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (47448)

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
