Angel Sasha (Bella's Angels)
Hi. We know where Snow is hiding out. She appears very happy and healthy. We are lucky enough to have the support of local residents who are helping us to gain her trust by feeding her up close and call when they see her. She doesn't seem to want to be caught but the Angels are out every weekend watching her.

This is going to be a long process but we will keep it up until she is comfortable enough with us to slip a lead on her. She is very nervous of people still so we are keeping helpers to a minimum so that she gets to know us.

Will share on fbook again xxx

This is fantastic news! Thank you BC. I am not going to bump her page as we do not want her to be swamped by people trying to help. We need to keep this contained to those who are currently dealing with his. Absolutely fantastic news. xxx

Crossposted from RAA Transport Group for Romania, seems that Snow has been Found but not captured yet:

Kendra Pinder Found..she is being fed everyday and comes so close to the search marty and Morphy the babe magnet they could catch her if she wasnt so bloody fast ..She looks really healthy and is having a ball..but the key is the lady she now is used to feeding her every day

Melly-f, just read your post about the 9 hours! Well done indeed. She could well be hiding and coming out at night or the early hours. Usually, they like it quiet and peaceful, plus its a good time to hunt for food and rummage through litter bins etc. Check for a food supply and water supply. x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
If Snow has been sighted in various places, it is more than likely she will pass those same places again. Action Aid for Animals will be plotting her route and that is why we need helpers sitting around the sighted areas, in their cars, just watching. You can use your mobiles to alert other helpers sitting elsewhere when she passes you, and vice versa. This is how we get a good route plotted. This will be the key to her capture and the most important work that any of us can do right now. We must NOT let her know we are watching as we really do not want to make her move elsewhere. Even if we get a call and all rush to the scene, how are we going to catch her? We can't. The catching will be done quietly, be carefully planned and carried out without her knowing it. May I suggest a group of people organise a rota system for watching at a distance? When it does come to her actual capture, this needs to be a very quiet affair for a number of reasons. Snow can definitely be captured but we need to plot her course first in order to do this. All your hard work on the ground, watching and waiting and the calls from the public with a sighting will result in her capture. You are a fantastic group of helpers and Snow needs you to plot her course. Please keep watching quietly for her. We don't want to tip her off. Having said that, sometimes dogs do the unexpected and simply one day, decide to walk up to someone, or another dog, quite happily. Let's hope that happens soon. Meantime, groundwork. Well done everyone for your devotion to this gorgeous girl. It will pay off. xxx

There has been a sighting of a small beige/white dog wearing a harness in Hereford Drive, Kings Park this morning. By the time my Dad got out of his van shed ran past and into the fields downs the bottom. He then went to see if he could see her but not seen again. Only just seen your advert will keep a look out and keep you posted.

Sorry to hear about Snow, my daughter lives on the fairview her house backs on to Bridport way, i have given her some posters to give out to her friends at the school, have posters been put up around that area?

If you would like to help, please don't search on foot but simply sit in your cars in different places, and watch. This does take time, but this has worked in the past. If you see Snow, call the number and stay in your car, but watch the direction she goes in and watch to see if she comes back again. This will help owner plot her course and its very worth doing. (I know its hard to sit and do nothing, but sometimes this is truly a great way to ultimately, catch a nervous dog). Thank you. x

Just to endorse what quackers has said. All sightings are so appreciated & so needed but if Snow is seen, please, please just call this number 01207 549454. Please do not approach Snow as this will frighten her. She is very close to the extremely busy A131 & it would be dreadful if she bolted away from someone who was only trying to help. Calling 01207 549454 will let the helpers know where she is a.s.a.p. Sadly there has been a situation where cross posting has had the effect of too many people ,all really well meant, going to the area & making the running dog bolt straight onto a motorway & this ended in tragedy.Thank you for your understanding & help with this tricky situation. X
Action Aid for Animalsquackers
While reports of sighting are really helpful can I please remind people it is essentil you don't walk round the area searching or calling out and if you see Snow you don't walk, run or shout after her. We are now working to a plan and anything that upsets or frightens her could be the differnce between us getting her soon and us losing her again. Thank you
lainey
I am over Notley Road area of Braintree and keeping my eyes peeled for you whilst out and about

Hello,

I just saw an advert regarding the missing dog snow from the braintree area, My husband and I saw snow yesterday on our estate!

the dog was in the middle of the road , which we thought was funny as it had a harness on.

The road was Bridgeport way, kings park estate.

As soon as we got out the car snow ran off down one of the side roads, I went to look after but i thing she must of slipped through a gap.

Sighting by bus driver on route 132 , Friday early afternoon, on Lanham Green Road (CM77).
Angel Sasha (Bella's Angels)
Bellas Angels volunteers have been out today searching woodland around Rickstones Road Witham with no luck, postering done in sighting areas in Rickstoned Rd, Conrad Rd and Forest Rd, pubs, takeaways, rail station and newsagents have all been covered. Where are you Snow?
Spanishirl
Sadly no more sightings to report. Thanks to everyone who has been out and about in freezing conditions over the last few days and to those who have been contacting me and the family with messages of suport and encouragement. Tomorrow is another day and I will continue to spread the news in whatever way possible.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
DogLost Aunt Steph has, I believe sent advice out. I am sending further advice to you now Shirley. Remember these dogs are clever and hopefully she will keep popping up until you can catch her. If anyone sees her, as has been said, do not chase. It might be worth leaving some smelly food there and watching from a distance, then you can set up a feeding station and she will keep coming back.
Action Aid for Animalsquackers

has she been sighted again today lisa ?
Action Aid for Animalsquackers
Hi I am with Action Aid for Animals, the group that brought Snow over. First of all a huge thank you to you all for your efforts to help find Snow. I am working alongside Belles Angels to try to find her. The last sighting was in Witham on Thursday so at the moment we are concentrating on that area. If people go out we are asking that if they spot her they do not approach her as she is timid and if she gets frightened she might run further away. It is possible that she is spending time in the forest area, around the edges and coming more into the open to find food. Please though don't go into the forest alone, especially at night. If you do go there please go in pairs or even better groups. We need people to note the place (street etc) and the time, and please contact either Belles Angels or myself on 01207 549454. The reason I ask you to do this as well as put it on here is that if we are busy we might not be able to check this forum more than a couple of times a day. If she is sighted the sooner we know the better. She has got a lab.look and colour about her but is a lot smaller and she has a pink collar and harness on. Again I must state please do not approach her or try to grab her.

Thanks everyoneLast edited: 2013-01-19 15:48:17 by quackers

I have heard from a different source that she has been spotted today and appears to be on an estate, I am waiting for confirmation of what estate. Evidentally they have leafletted the estate so hopefully someone will see her again soon. It is a large estate and she could be anywhere, hiding, keeping warm and dry somewhere. If the owners read this and want to confirm the exact estate, or if this information is incorrect, it would be appreciated.Last edited: 2013-01-18 21:38:26 by lisaschon

Has the new owners registered Snows chip in the UK, if not they must do it asap, as if she is captured and it is not registered in the Uk it will be useless, it can be done over the phone, her chip details will be in her passport. PLEASE REGISTER HER CHIP IN THE UK
