- Thank you to DogLost and all those wonderful people who went out looking and kept everyone up to date with sightings. Thank you especially to the lady who called this evening who spotted a lone brown lab. It's thanks to her that I searched in that area.
Poppy is skinny but her usual jumpy happy girl with me. Snuggling up at my feet, with her best buddy Jenson. He's sooo pleased to see her too. - 2013-01-21 18:22 Lorraine

- Thanks Louise. That's really encouraging news. Unfortunately ive had to go away this weekend so am not able to get over there. However I will phone the previous owners to see if they can coax her out. If you can I'd really appreciate posters. Fingers crossed. X

- Hiya. My dad saw a dog like yours while walking my dog yesterday evening in Hoo. He said the dog was hiding in bushes by the park and ran away when seen towards to chinese/kebab/shops. Our dog went missing a couple of years ago when living on Croydon and she had run away quite far and hid in woods. She was found when another dog chased after her and the owner called us and she came out of the bushes when we called her as she recognised our voice. We had loads of sightings of her but she was just running away from everyone as she was scared but was relieved to have her home after 7 long days. You must be so worried especially with this awful weather. I have a young baby but will do the best i can to get some posters put up in the shops and around the park today and keep a look out. If you or someone that knows the dog can come and bring food/something like a blanket with dogs scent/your scent may help. Good luck xxx

- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. You could put there that she may be afraid - most people assume labs are people lovers. Hope she's home soon.
