- Oh, I am so very sorry to hear this. How awful. Although we all wish it was under better circumstances, Suki can now rest peacefully as she has been found. She is no longer lost. Owners, please know that sometimes our dogs know when it's time to go to heaven, and, sometimes they need to go alone because if you were with them, they may not be able to leave as they love you so much. I am sure this was the case with sweet Suki. She is safe now and has earned her little wings. She's waiting for you at the bridge, when you too, have earned your wings. God bless Suki and her loving owners, always. xxx (Thank you finders) x

- We have just looked at your website as we found a large dead dog in some bushes near the Langston Hotel on Sunday 18th Feb. It was found by our visiting relatives -my 9 year old nephew and brother in law and from their description it sounds like Suki.
The dog was lying in some brambles in a secluded area up a bank, it was only by chance that my nephew found the dog as he was running around and came back to say what he had found. My brother in law went to see and came back to say the dog had a collar on, we did intend to go back however after our walk but it got dark quickly.
We do not want to cause any distress to the owner incase it is not Suki, however this may help them find closure.

- Someone on our FB page has alerted me to a Weimaraner needing rehoming in Scotland. It is probably not connected at all but thought it best to share with you. https://www.facebook.com/anydogildorescue

- Went to have a look around the area Suki went missing, couldn't find a place to park! so oh waited in car whilst I had a walk up the walkway.....I feel sure that if she had headed towards Hayling Island or Havant she would have been seen. I spoke to a couple of people and one of them suggested that Suki could be hiding in the fields behind the Royal Oak and living on rabbits, lets hope that she is and that there is a sighting very soon xxx

- I am not far from Hayling, in the Chichester area. I will print off some posters and circulate in this area. Poor Suki I do hope there is a sighting soon.
- 2013-01-23 21:32 Pnki
- So sorry she is still missing. I have walked that way quite a few times but no sightings. X

- Owner is aware thanks ravenette and her husband has been out but it was a fox.
- 2013-01-22 14:26 Belle
- Don't feel bad Ravenette. I am sure the owner would rather know what has happened to Suki than be wondering for ever. But I understand how difficult it must be to post such a message. Here's hoping it's not Suki.

- I feel really awful posting this and so hope this is not Suki....But our UPS delivery man told my husband that a large grey dog was reported most likely deceased on the A27 heading towards Portsmouth laying on the verge at the bridge by Bedhampton yesterday. Is anyone able to check with highways and hopefully rule this out? xxx

- So very sorry that the lovely Suki is still missing. As there have been no sightings is it possible that someone from the pub took her - maybe thinking she was lost and that she could have been taken to a vets or kennels further afield? Do hope you get some news very soon xxx

- a reply.....
@DCS_Bertie
@DoglostUK Contact Havant Council, they have their own kennels + OOH service. If not collected, may know where she is? - 2013-01-19 13:54 Riverlady

- Owners are doing all they can to find Suki. She is about 15 years old, hard of hearing and will be very confused. The highways departments have been notified but thankfully they haven't picked up any dog fitting her description. Have advised owner to put out an appeal on the local radio.
