- Thank you for the update debbi. This is such good news :)I have just spoken to Sonny's family & he is home, fine, a little thin but OK,thank goodness. It does sound like this little dog became too hot to handle after the Alan Titchmarsh Show as well as being in The Countryman's Weekly this week.

- A councillor has replied to me on twitter. this is what he has said.
'Make a formal complaint to the force concerned. Theft under the theft Act, its a crime'
Also has the owner been given by Budgens a freeze photo of the man on the CCTV ?? - 2013-02-14 15:58 Jayne
- Right I'm getting even more annoyed that the fact the local police is not taking this seriously. i have now sent a barage of tweets to hillingdon police to release the photo of this man.
My anger is really wound up after I have just seen local Watford Police has released photo of 2 women who have stolen a f* mirror from a pub. Absolutly outragous. Im fuming. What the hell is Hillingdon police waiting for. We know there is cctv all down that road including budgens. Im so angry this poor dog needs to be found quickly xxxxxLast edited: 2013-02-14 16:01:12 by Jayne - 2013-02-14 09:37 MammaMia

- I have just spoken to owners again to see if there is any news & I'm afraid there isn't at the moment. Whether the police have checked the CCTV is still unknown also.Thank you Riverlady , Jayne P & reggiemollieros for the continued tweeting & sharing as well as MammaMia for keeping an eye on the dog sale sites . Keeping Sonny circulated on here, facebook, twitter etc is all we can do at the moment. We just need that one call from someone who sees him & is aware that he is a stolen dog.

- Hi Reggie, Just about to tweet again for Sonny just checked in to see if any update. The local police are normally good to tweet Photos of shop theif's and muggers so I just dont understand what is taking them so long. :(A photo could nab this bloke & get sonny back. Blood is boiling.
I did see someone tweeted that theres a Sonny poster at eastcote station.
Hope and pray sonny gets home quickly :( xxxx - 2013-02-06 18:11 reggiemollieros
- Me too Jayne. I keep checking in and hoping and sharing.
- 2013-02-06 17:23 Jayne

- Sonny's photo was just shown on the Alann Titchmarsh show. So pleased. I really hope that this brings some good news soon.
- 2013-02-04 17:33 reggiemollieros
- I had an email from Alan Titchmarsh show to say they will try and show Sonny's photo and details at the end of the show. If you could pass that on to Sonny's owner please. I don't want to get their hopes up as working in TV I know that things do not always go to plan. Fingers crossed though. Last edited: 2013-02-04 20:51:00 by reggiemollieros

- Sounds like a good plan. It would be good to have Sonny's owner's fb page so that I can contact her without tying up the phone. Is that possible?

- Thank you Aunt Stef.

- Thank you reggiemollieros,I have added this to Sonny's owner's page on Facebook.
- 2013-01-31 21:08 reggiemollieros
- They are always a long shot, when TV programmes release these requests but as Sonny was stolen so recently you might want to email them.
Quote: Have you been a victim of dognapping? Alan would like to hear about it. If you have a dog missing at the moment maybe we can help! Send us at picture and a bit of info about your stolen pooch to alan@itv.com and we'll try to show it at the end of next Tuesday's show.Unquote
p.s. I sent an email to them with Sonny's doglost page in case you did not see this post in time. Like I said they will be inundated but worth a shot. I have also been re-sharing on twitter. Please copy & paste ;) - 2013-01-29 20:04 MammaMia
- Is there any update on Sonny? Will he be featured in the Gazette this week. Hope that his owners know that we are all still doing what we can. Is there anything else that the police have suggested??
- 2013-01-27 20:34 MammaMia
- Renata - please don't worry about the leaflets in B & W - I've circulated loads of leaflets in the area and to get Sonny's true colours and facial features I think they do need to be in colour.
- 2013-01-26 16:05 Renata
- Appalling how the police is behaving (but not surprised at all).
Yes, the good idea is to post leaflets through doors, not only for flats but for houses as well. As many as possible. That will help. People will see. Some won't care, but others will. And yes, the various vets in the area. For ex Barnfield Veterinary Centre. Dr Patel. They are in Pinner Rd, very close to the crossroad to go to Horth Harrow tube station. They have a lot of people going there, from Eastcote as well. My pritner has stopped working otherwise I would take it there myself. Say that he was stolen! Maybe my husband can print a few copies in B&W and we shall put them around (and I can take one to the vet. They know us very well and they will not make any difficulty. I shall go there on Tuesday myself. - 2013-01-26 11:21 Riverlady

- I live just a few minutes drive away. Will drive around the rear of budgens and park up and observe. Put flyers into every flat in that area also.I was in Goddards vet yesterday and did not see a poster. Ask them to display one for you. Hope Sonny is found and home soon.
- 2013-01-25 14:43 MammaMia
- Lets hope they take it seriously. More leaflets circulated over the fields - most people already know that Sonny's missing - so I'm asking them to pass onto the next person they see and so on. All posters still up and in tact.
- 2013-01-25 09:18 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- have sent email with advise on going back to police stating you want action for this theft!!
- 2013-01-24 22:13 Caz
- Typical of Uxbridge police to cock up!! If someone is taking posters down ask all the shops to put 1 up in their window. got couple friends that work in Field End Road so will ask them to keep a watch for this guy.
- 2013-01-24 13:55 Jadey
- Hello everyone, quick update, sonny was seen monday with a polish man coming down from above budgens by one of my neighbours, she hadn't seen posters but as rung my ex husband straight away when saw them on tues, we both went & knocked on doors & tried to get through to police but the police have been useless, we have been given wrong crime no. & Apparantly a report has not been done!!! This is ridiculous as the neighbour could Id this man via CCTV
Images. The gazette will print next week!!! Some1 is also ripping posters down!!! We checked budgens CCTV but its too grainy an image. Would like to thank every1 for all ur help xxx - 2013-01-24 11:58 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- If owner appears on the tape which she will do as she tied the dog up she is entitled to a copy of the cctv tape from the store or to be able to watch it herself...insist as most shops will wipe footage after 7 days...
- 2013-01-24 11:47 Jayne
- Can I totally agree. It's totally unacceptable. Sonny has been gone a week now. How long so they need?? The photo should be released to identify this man quickly. Also to see where he went & if he got in to a car or van us the reg visible. I strongly suggest the family demand this to be taken seriously by the police. :( so upsetting :(
Mammamia that's brilliant well done for getting posters up. I haven't seen this weeks gazette yet does anyone know if a story was printed this week??? Xxx - 2013-01-24 11:47 Jayne

- I put up laminated posters in the fields were Sonny is normally walked; the cafe at Kings College were only too happy to display his poster (they were v upset). I spoke to several dog walkers; but have decided to make smaller versions of the poster to give to general members of the public - got to get this lovely boy back!

- I totally agree regards local paper. Our Phoebe was stolen from Hillingdon. The local Gazette have done 2 storys for us. Owners please call the Gazette to do a story for you. Dogs been stolen outside shops is something that has not been covered in the area. People need to be made aware. Praying so hard little sonny gets home quickly xxxx
- 2013-01-21 20:46 Renata
- A suggestion would be to involve a local newspaper. I saw a child in one of the photos. You can say that the child misses the dog a lot and you can say that there is a photo of the thief on a CCT camera. Papers like both these angles and they may publish the story. The man must be local. It's unlikely that he comes from another part of the country to Eastcote to still an adult JRT mix.
Well the police should recognise him, but if the papers help it would be very good. Just give it "an angle". Wish you all the best. - 2013-01-21 17:39 Riverlady
