Thanks everyone, Jackalee, yes Dogs Home have microchipped him, he had already lost his ID tag the day before he went missing. They all went out for long walks on saturday and sunday, my grandchildren were so happy to get him back, and Zac was glad to be back especially since he has been spoilt ever since. xx

Fantastic news Dee Dee, so pleased your grandchildren have their buddy back. If MDH didn't already do it before he left there I would highly recommend a microchip and ID tag, you just never know when you need to rely on it.

Welcome Home Zac, stay safe now little man xx

Sorry to keep you all waiting for news, we can't get down to Manchester Dogs Home until Friday, as my Dad has fell ill, so we won't know until then, but it really does sound like him, down to the fact that they have described his collar, so I will let u know Friday hopefully.

Shared and tweeted. If someone can get over to the Manchester and cheshire dogs homes on a regular basis, as the staff can not be depended on to let you know if he comes in, they are too busy.
Dee Dee

Dee Dee

Thanks doggo, I will let my daughter know and I'll print some more posters in work tomorrow
doggo
Best thing to do is to plaster the place with posters-you really can't do too many.Ask the shops around Sale Circle, poster outside schools- ask if you can put a poster inside:some will let you-(children always notice things more than adults). Do the small shops too & the big Tescos at Baguley,Pets at Home across the road from there too,the library, lamposts all over the place. Let the Animal Wardens know too and local vets round about, including in Sale.Fingers crossed for Zac's safe return soon.Best of luck.
Dee Dee
Thanks so much Jayne, it's my daughter's dog, and my grandchildren are distraught, my daughter has been phoning vets and animal sacturies on her lunch hour at work
