Hi Cjdbuilders, well done on everything you have done....you are doing fantastic in searching for Jake and also in fostering children/babies...takes special caring people.
Do you manage to check the photos when a link is sent on here like the one at Leigh? That photo of the dog (091)looks so like Jake but might be I'm missing something which doesnt match...as I keep flicking back and forth to that photo then Jakes:)
Jake sounds lovely and also very special.....with everyone sharing his poster hopefully Jake will be back with you soon.
Has he been in the local papers?
If there is anything I can help you with please ask......is there anywhere posters need to go up? (where allowed)
Fingers crossed Jake gets back to you and your family where he belongs xx

Hi AnnieSparky I have followed every lead and sit looking at dogs for sale ect, I don't get to the dog homes in person as we live far away and life's very busy we foster a baby on top of everything else, but that's also another sad thing about Jake going missing he always makes the scared children smile they come at all times of the night and Jake was always there to make them smile. Also the police know and we have a crime number for what it's worth. The dog warden came out to see us and they have photo hopefully he will be returned x x Thanks again for your support

Still no sightings or news please keep sharing we all miss our little man and his mates miss him too xxxx

I have spoken to Jakes owners - Jake vanished from home which is completely out of character for him. Two other dogs disappeared locally at about the same time and it is thought they may have all been taken.
The police are involved and have issued a crime reference number.
Owners have reported to all the relevant authorities and are working on making Jake 'too hot to handle'.
I have advised trying for media coverage and to keep on postering as much as possible, although Jakes owner has been advised that postering locally may result in a fine.
If found, he must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW

Email sent with info and Advice. x
Cjdbuilders

Sorry to see that JAKE is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (47723)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
