Just looking at Milo's sweet face tells me he was, and still is, a very special dog. He was sent to earth for just a short time, but will be with his family forever in heaven. God bless you sweetheart and your loving owners. In time, may their hearts know peace. Meantime, those thugs will never know peace. Vengeance will follow. x

When I read this awful news about Milo, I had to go off FB, twitter etc and cry my eyes out. I could not even comment on here so heart breaking is the outcome. What ever way it happened those nasty individuals caused this. May you rest in peace sweet boy. I cannot imagine how your family feel as I know they and all Milo's supporters looked so hard for him. xx

Such a sad ending for this poor dog. So sad for the owner when all he did was try to protect Milo.. can't say what I think of the people who put them both through this. R.I.P. Milo.

This is truely heartbreaking, God what I would like to do with scumbags like those youths! I am so sorry Milo didn't make it home safely and my thoughts go out to his poor owners. At least he will be having fun at Rainbow Bridge along with all the other beautiful dogs that are there already x

This is horrific - poor owner who did his or her best to protect their pet. Why do we have to share the planet with people who think it's acceptable to take what isn't theirs? I hope that the police are involved and that those responsible are brought to justice.

have been asking confirmation from owner re another dog found very similar (snow covering legs but on left one it is clear so see white at bottom same as milo).. 2 hours away he couldnt see link so pm'd him with where to look on here with id no and sent pic again. glad page on here now perhaps could find out if this is his dog? x

Email address would be good too when you have it so that Lizzy can send out info and I can send out some scenting advice in case Milo is hiding in the woods.

Doglost folks, because of the nature of how Milo went missing, is this likely to attract (more) crank calls? If so, is there any way of putting another number that isn't the owners? Also, is he listed under the right region? (not NANNA's area...)
