Nero has been successfully trapped by owner's family and is now safe at home. Thanks to all the people who have been out at extraordinary hours helping to bring him in. Chrissie tells me it was so cold there in the middle of the night that she couldn't fry sausages because her camping gas cylinders had frozen while in her car!

nero is being fed daily at four different bungalows across the road from his sleeping place ..he will come and have a look at anybody who goes near him ,but is too afraid to come all the way!please do not chase !!

I've just seen on the East Mids Facebook group that there have been regular recent sightings of Nero between Ollerton & Perlethorpe. Is it possible to bump his page please, so more people in this area are aware? The owner is constantly out trying to get him, but can't catch him.

Nero was last sighted last week. He is 2 villages away from where he lives and can go into the other village across fields and there are also woods for him to go into.

Owner lives 2 villages away from where he has gone missing so by the time owner gets to Ollerton after sightings have been phoned to her he has gone again. PLEASE phone her asap with any sighting but DO NOT chase him. We need to get a pattern of his movements set up.

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.

Any chance of more details about where lost, I may be in that area over the weekend so can look out for him. May need to take a slight detour from my normal route but will happily do so if I know where to look.
