He was found by Pomphrey Hill by a lady walking her dog, who alerted the dog warden
I wasn't aware of this website before hand but will definitely check it regularly to see if I can help anyone thank you everyone xx

TORRIE IS SAFE he was found by a lady walking her dog who reported it to dog warden, he is fine and is with my mum, thanks for everyones help and for spreading the word really appreciate it xxxxx

PS To clarify, Westerleigh kennels are not an 'overflow' for BDH. They are the reception points for different areas. Dogs found in Bristol must be taken to BDH. Only dogs found in South Gloucestershire will be received at Westerleigh.

Yes it is our friend Kims(who was looking after Torrie when he ran off) dog, Tikka. Her husband was out looking with Tikka last night till late. Few of our friends have had to go into work but will continue searching later

In Torriers photo looks like a lurcher in the background, is that a friend of Torries? If he has a dog friend would be good plan to get it walking in the area too. Good luck. Hope in the blue later today.

Local dog homes, dog warden and police were made aware last night and have our numbers.
Posters have been put up around South Gloucs last night and this morning, printing more to put up around local shops now.
School is closed for half term, but will go over to see if accessible to him.
Thanks for help, I will inform local businesses in area, will keep updating on here.
Unfortunately I had to go into work today, but mother and friends are out searching still, so I am at a computer spreading the word. Thanks for everyone's help, the kindness of strangers is amazing.

Thanks for clarifying. Did not realise there are 2 blackhorse roads in such close proximity. Phone the overflow kennels for Bristol Dogs home in Westerleigh Road. He may have been taken there. Print posters & definately display around Rodway Common & inform the school opposite.Maybe hand out flyers to parents when they collect kids from school. More people we can inform the better! I wish you loads of luck. I will be out walking again with friends over warmley forest which backs onto mangotsfield /cycle path at lunch time, fingers crossed hes back with you today !

There is a Blackhorse Road in Mangotsfield, it's the long Road that leads from the Huntsman Pub in Downend to Tesco Mangotsfield

Haven't heard anything since 18:30pm last night was seen on junction way, which is a road, in Mangotsfield housing estate, but he ran down a cycle path, when people tried to corner him. It is surrounded by cycle paths and fields, we searched around there for hours until 12am last night, since he was sighted, but no luck, have been searching since 6am this morning, but no more sightings, so not sure where to look now! thanks for help

Vet nurse at Fernlea vets in kingswood & Hanham here. Have spread the word at both surgeries. Walked this morning around overscourt wood- no sign. Hope you finf Torrie soon.

I can help look at around lunchtime today. Any updates as to the most recent sighting? I saw on Facebook he was seen at Mangotsfield recycling centre yesterday (I don't know what road that is on). Could he be trying to head home, in which case what direction is that?

thank you for clearing that up as on fb it stated he was attached to his lead, still no luck i take it. have shared on fb with both contact numbers ans hopefully will see him in the found section when i look in the morning xxx

Hi. I'm the owner. He has no lead attached but it wearing a collar and tag. He is chipped. If found take him to emersons green vets or
Call me I will be there within 5-10
Mins. He's very very timid so please don't approach. He will just keep running which is just he's been doing all day. I was away and he jumped out a friends car boot and was goin g into her house and then turned afoot and legged it. Please help spread the word
