Elmo was found trapped in a passage way a few houses from where he lives. Family took Harvery their other dog out and when a dog barked he barked back. Elmo must have heard him and started barking and crying. Owner ran over there was Elmo, they had to drag him through an iron gate.

LOL went I was speaking to owner’s mum last night I advised they take Harvey out early and try to get him to bark, if Elmo was hiding up anywhere he may react and go to them. Chuffed to bits that circumstances led to Harvey barking and they struck lucky and managed to find little Elmo. (LOL be must have been ear wigging last night when speaking to family). I was so so happy to receive the call this morning while in work to say they had found him and great to get also get a lovely REUNITED photo . Thanks for sharing it with us.

Family are over the moon to have him back and their hard word paid off for them nice and quick.

Massive WELCOME HOME gorgeous little Elmo sending you a massive big hug and cuddle.

Family are going to go to the area very early tomorrow with their other dog. They are used to being walked very early and this is the best time to go looking.

Hi Kate, I went walking around the old swan area today looking in gardens etc on the off chance that Elmo was hiding with no luck yet. I spoke to a local dog walker called Kerry who lives on Derby lane too & as she's always around the Sandfield park area she's also going to spread the word & keep an eye out. I'll go out looking again tomorrow. Fingers crossed Elmo's home safe soon x

Made contact with Kate who is out searching for him now and I've spoken to family member on the phone and gone through things with them. They are doing a great job and contact the right people. The park he has ran out of is opposite Sainsbury's and where they normally walk him with their other dog early in the morning. Given advice of some things to do. Sure it is only a matter of time before the word gets out and that most important call is made and we see him in the BLUE. x

Thanks everyone for helping in the search for Elmo. I've updated some of the details to show up on his poster and have left a message for Kate for an update. If he is still missing I'll offer help/advice and send it in more detail in an email along with Scenting Instructions. The area he has gone missing is very well built up. Hopefully someone has taken him in and we see him back home soon. x

Afraid I'm too far away to help physically. Make sure to get up HUNDREDS of posters to make him the hottest dog in town, incase someone decides to keep him! Although just a pup, he might return to the spot where he last saw his owner, so keep checking back there and leave an item of clothing with owner's scent on it there. Have you been emailed the other scenting instructions?

on a walk this morning, a dog scared him and he ran out of the park. A Neighbour saw him heading in the direction of West Derby on Queens Drive but couldn't catch him as Elmo was too quick and the man is elderly.
