This thank you posted on Cambridge FB Group page

Can everyone please forward this in the same way you forwarded our missing Flynn post: Flynn has now been returned home safe and sound. He continued on his run route after losing Adam but ran into some drunken men who were seen kicking him. A burly bloke 'Danny You'vebeenserved Butler' rescued him and took him to his friends house a Mr Warren Walker who posted pics on facebook of Flynn. A Miss 'Charlotte Rogers' saw the pic and searched on the amazing site 'doglost' and saw my post of Flynn and contacted us this evening. Some tearful phone calls later Adam collected Flynn and brought him home. George was elated when Flynn came home having spent all day pointing at his picture and looking around. He has now been checked over by the vets (and micro chipped!) and Warren and Danny and hopefully Charlotte should be having some thank you drinks on us! Thank you so much to everyone without exception who read our post, shared it on their page, forwarded it on Twitter, emailed their own work places, who printed posters and flyered the town of Peterborough and to those of you who went out and searched last night and tonight in the snow. You are all treasured and we feel truly blessed tonight. Flynn will be carried upstairs (as he is now fast asleep on the sofa) and will be allowed to sleep on our bed (for one night only as Warren commented, he does f*@kin stink!). Thank you genuinely to all of you. x

This is awful, well done finder for rescuing and taking this little boy to safety. I hope he will be ok after his ordeal. There must be laws against this and I hope the drunks get a good kicking themselves!

Have now spoken to the owner. Flyn was running on the tow path beside the river Nene in the Orton Mere region near Charters pub and town bridge when he was spooked by something and ran off. The dog warden, police, vets and kennels have been notified. Posters have been put up and flyers handed out. There was 1 sighting but nothing since. I have advised on how to scent the area. Email sent with local information.Last edited: 2013-02-13 12:02:49 by AlisonH
