Long shot because of the time lapse but a dog with similar markings obviously looking older is with Cheshire dog warden at acorn kennels FB Patterdale terriers lost and found UK for photo. Can’t trace owner through chip

Luca - you may not be aware that microchips can move and sometimes not detected by scanners so if your gut feeling is that the dog at Sangreat Kennels is Patti, you should follow it up.
Luca
Thank you Mary and Skyninchar for heads up. I've spoken to Sangreat kennels about 235 but, unlike Patti, the dog is not microchipped. Kind regards, Luca.
Mary
Hi Luca, Do check the dog below as he is already reserved and will soon be rehomed. Dogs act differently when they are in survival mode and are unlikely to come if called. It would be best for the lady to call you straight away turn sideways on and not make eye contact with the dog. let the dog approach her. If it is Patti even you, as the owner, need to be aware that Patti may not come to you if called. I do hope one of these dogs is Patti.

Hi Claire, we've got a phone call This morning. A lady has spotted a dog looking like Patti 3 times in the last few days around Ardgowan Rd, Catford/Either Green nearest postcode SE6 1UU. The black bitch had same white markings, was limping and roaming unattended. She tried to go near her but the dog was scared and run off (unlike Patti as she normally v appoachable). We drove there earlier and had a good look around with no avail, put a couple posters up in Mountfields Park nearby and alerted a few dog walkers and park keeper. I've emailed all local vets again in case someone take her in to fix her leg. The lady said that if she sees her againg she will try to get hold of her. I have the lady phone number.

Hi Luca, any news of Patti?
Luca
Still no news/sightings of our Patti :'o(
Luca
Thank you Claire (got your text ok)and thank you Starmutts. Remarkably similar colour patterns and face expression, but a tad to large and young to be Patti. We really appreciate your intersest and help with our missing girl. Just to add that we still have no other news of sightings, other than normal alerts of other dogs found nationwide. Thanks again! Luca

Dog Wardenstarmutts
hello, I saw a dog on a rescue page - I don't think it is your dog as it says great dane cross in description and the white patches look different but if you could just rule it out it would put my mind at rest! http://www.homes4dogs.co.uk/#/home-wanted-19/4549164615 but I will keep an eye out. Also keep an eye on the website lostdogsuk.co.uk - It doesn't show lewisham dogs but it will have pictures of any dogs picked up in Greenwich/westminster/bromley.
Luca
Thanks to co-ordinators for keeping in touch. Unfortunately, still no news :(
Maggie
Thank you Luca for updating us

Patti is a black, smooth shiny coat, microchipped and spayed Pattedale Terrier. She's about a foot tall, 8 to 9 Kg and recognisable by her white paws and chest. She's very lively and friendly with both people and dogs and very approachable. She's likely to come and beg for buiscuits if you have any in your pockets. She disappeared without trace in Ladywell Fields, Lewisham, London at 2PM on 11 February 2013. Despite widespread posters, emails (to vets, dogwalkers, pet shops) twitter and facebook campaign, there have been no sightings yet.

Patti is still missing, owner is still putting posters up and circulating on Twitter.

Still no news of any sightings, despite the numerous posters and other alerts sent via email and web. We really hope she's not suffering. :(
Luca
Thanks EVERYONE. Today we put more posters up along the Raversbourne river walks between Depford and Beckenham Place and on all entrances of that park. We also alerted the park wardens we could find in the area and we keep sharing poster on social media. Unfortunately still no reports of sightings. We just printed more posters to cover Brockwell, Cristal Palace and Dulwich parks in the next two days. Last edited: 2013-02-20 10:04:17 by Luca

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.
Belle
She's on my list now, so will look online for her. Good luck.

  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (48703)
