- Postered a couple of shops in Cottingley centre and left a poster on the caravan in the woods which I presume the tree fellers are using. Have posters been taken to the farms which back onto the woods? I can look in the woods again tomorrow but can't print any posters off until Monday. Also have the owners of the woods been contacted. The woods are owned by Margaret Eaton MP and her husband.

- I've postered 3 vets in BD18 and BD10, plus Morrison's and the two swimming pools. Might be worth postering Hirst Wood, you;ll get a lot of the same dog walkers who go in Cottingly woods. I can do that, plus Avenue vet but not till Monday. Aldo can take my dogs into Cottingly woods but again, not till after the weekend. Also, if the owners can email me the bottom photo I'll use photoshop and try to make it a bit clearer. Co-ordinators you have my permission to pass on my email address, or I can text it to the owners if they want me to do this. Paws crossed for a happy ending

- Thanks very much to Craig and Moe who went to search for Oscar yesterday- the area he went missing is very vast and dense. Sadly they did not find Oscar.
Thank you very much Scuba Ros and Phoenix57- have alerted Oscar's owner to your offers.
A photo of Oscar has been emailed to local holding kennels.
Hoping for news of him

- I'm in Cottingley so can help look for Oscar on Sunday. I've not seen any posters in the local shops or anywhere around yet. Worth getting them up as lots of dog walkers in the area who will keep a look out for him

- Hello, I'm really sorry to hear Oscar's missing. I can help with postering if you can tell me where you would like me to go? Have the vets in the area been postered? I can do that. I do hope the little chap is found soon.

- Oscar went missing on a walk on Sunday afternoon. There have been no reported sightings of him since he went missing.
He still has his lead attached.
Owners have reported him missing to all the relevant authorities and have been searching the area. They are worried he may be stuck somewhere but it is a very vast, dense area.
Awaiting a photo.
if found, he must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW - 2013-02-13 22:08
- Sorry to see that OSCAR is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (48740)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
