BT found tonight in Coventry, the second dog this w/e to be pulled from the canal. With PDSA tonight, looks fine:

There's a dog in rescue that looks a lot like Dinky. Don't know her history but she's a young adult. Worth looking at a pic...

I have bumped Dinky due to Saffy's body been found. We feel that they would have stayed together and that Dinky is in the area of Bilby. Maybe in a reserve area.

Thank you for the lead rescue mum the two border were similar but have no been reunited with their owner a farmer from the Sunderland area.

Both dogs were been 'house sat' and were at the stables with Paul and the Horse Farrier when they just disappeared. The property has 6ft fence around but they managed to get through somewhere. They live in Wakefield so not sure if they are trying to get home.

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
