- The stray dog that Roxi ran off with did look a lot like Merlin, pretty sure it could be him - or at least a dog from the same litter.
I have seen the stray once in our garden since Roxi came home, although this was very brief as he was gone in a flash.
I have started to walk Roxi later in the nights in the hope of seeing the stray dog, I am equipped with a spare lead and treats to attract him.
Also spoke to someone from dog lost last night who is also on the case to try and capture the stray (Merlin I hope). - 2013-02-25 14:39 4paws
- Hi, I hope Roxi settled in after her escapades ..when you have a moment could you have a look at doglost site...dog lost 38844 named merlin..do you think this could be Roxi's boyfriend?....If it is I hope you took Roxi to the vets
after her nights out..as he was one of 16 puppies in one litter !Could you let us know please..xx - 2013-02-25 13:09 RCPersse
- Could it be Merlin by any chance 38844?

- I'm pretty sure it not dog no 46772 as we have seen the stray lurcher occasionally in our garden in the nights around 6 months ago - didn't think it was a stray then as it seemed to be in such good condition.
We are currently keeping a eye out to see if her boy friend reappears again - if so we are now be prepared to catch it.
Also we think that the stray may live up the mountain in the day and comes down to the houses/streets in the night. As soon as Roxi is up to it (her paws are sore from her adventures) we will take her up the mountain and try and find the stray. - 2013-02-20 19:10 ClaireC
- Just a thought but the boyfriend may come calling again! Maybe this time he may be wanting to be caught!.

- Unfortunately her boyfriend is not with us although we tried to catch him, he is very timid and cautious of people. We did manage to feed him and he appeared to be in good health.
My wife and I have already been in contact with the warden and will do our up most to help get him off the streets and to a home where he deserves to be.

- GREAT NEWS we found Roxi in the early hours this morning. After being out seraching for her last night, we decided to head home at 2am and start again in the morning - when we got outside our house Roxi and her new boyfriend were running up the street towards us and then started jumping up as us.
She is in good health although very tired.
We would like to thank everyone who rallied around to help us find and also offer support to me and my wife - there really are some amazing and wonderful people out there!
I can say enough how greatful we are, and I hope that someday we can repay the favour in some way.
THANK YOU EVERYONE !!!
