So desperately sad to have received the news this evening that Jet's body was found on the rail-lines today.

Her family are understandably distraught, but at least have some closure from knowing where she is. Run free gorgeous Jet :(( xx

Two possible sightings of Jet have been reported today.

A dog described as 'very similar' to Jet, was seen yesterday lunchtime in the Middlewich Street area. A second possible sighting has been reported to Jets owner today in the Sherbourne Road area. If this is Jet, she is getting very close to home....please keep looking out for her and alert her owners if seen.

Stay safe Jet...and follow your nose little one. x

Jet was sighted twice today in a field back in the Barthomley area. Her owners went to the location - and did see Jet, but she kept going and headed away from them.

Please keep looking out for Jet if you are in this area.xLast edited: 2013-02-18 21:17:21 by skippy

Jet is 4 years old and went missing from home yesterday in the at approximately 2pm when she accidentally escaped. There have been a number of sightings of her since she went missing - most recently she was seen yesterday evening in the the Barthomley area at 7pm last night. She has been described as very scared by those who have seen her. She is not normally a dog that would allow a stranger to pick her up.

Jet's owner is a farrier and Jet normally goes to work with him. She has previously gone missing in a different area and been found two hours later around stables, so Jet's owners have made sure that all stable yards in the area have her details, as she may be drawn to them.

Jets owner is doing all the right things - dog warden and local vets have been contacted. I have recommeded POSTERING the areas Jet has been seen and I have also forwarded plotting and scenting instructions.

I hope to get more details a little later - Jet's owners are currently out searching for her and have a poor phone signal. They have contacted The Hollies kennels in Crewe where stray dogs would normally be taken out of hours. No reports there yet.
