So very sorry to hear this tragic news. We never really know why dogs just go off on their own and decide their own fate. Really hope that you take some consolation that you got your girl back and will be able to lay her to rest. RIP Casha xx

Thank you to everyone who helped to find our dog. We have just had it confirmed that Casha was killed on the A15 near RAF Scampton. She was a very loving family dog and will be missed by us all. RIP Casha we loved you

I have just been in touch with Casha's owner. She had 2 calls sayng that the body of a black dog was seen at the side of the A15 and one of the callers said it was a Labrador. The owners went out searching but have not found the body and so far nobody seems to know where it is. So for now can we all please keep on searching for Casha until we get some definite news.

Apparently the dog in the post below was definitely a labrador, also quite a long way from Scampton - approx 40 miles or so.

Have printed posters off and will put up in Woodhall Spa, however we are about 15 miles from Scampton, but fingers crossed for Casha's safe return.

I have now spoken to the owner. Casha is 13 years old but is still very active. She usually goes out for a wee and let's herself back in but yesterday while the owner was bathing their other dog she just disappeared. Will make up poster and flyers and email with all local information.
