- To the adorable Harry,
This is Victoria,
So very pleased to have found you this morning, and to get you back home safely to your family. It is so nice to read all the lovely comments from your friends who were worried about you. Enjoy a good night sleep in your bed with your teddy xx :) - 2013-02-18 20:32 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- I'm so, so pleased to see that your beautiful boy is now back with you! Well done to his finders - no wonder there hadn't been any sightings if he'd been stuck in those brambles! Perhaps they were actually a godsend as they stopped him wandering onto the railway line. You can all get a good night's sleep now. Please give him a big hug from me xxx

- I am just delighted Pauline to log on and find the lovely Harry is home safe and sound - what lovely and kind people Victoria and her Dad are for rescuing him from those brambles and right near the railway too. With all good wishes for the future - please stay close to home Harry. Julie x

- Back from the vet all is well a bandage for good measure and some antibiotics just in case. He has had some chicken and the world does not seem too bad a place!
- 2013-02-18 18:15 Nikki (Tyler's mum)
- Oh my gosh! Poor little man, I hope he gets on ok at the vets x
- 2013-02-18 17:08 mathers22
- So happy for you all. Probably a good thing he was stuck in the brambles if he was near the railway. Well done to the walkers xx
- 2013-02-18 16:55 Pauline
- Yes he was in a very precarious place - he was several miles away - not somewhere he has ever been before, and tangled in brambles on a railway line!
Yes he has already had a drink, something to eat and a sleep and his mate our old Newfoundland has given him a a good wash! His paws are sore so he is off to the vet tonight.
I have taken a photo of him back in bed at home with his teddy if I can find a way I will add it to the site.
I think we will all sleep well tonight.

- I am amazed - when my husband offered a poster to a window cleaner, he said he had already seen it on line and had sent in on to others - the system really works, but only because of all of you.
- 2013-02-18 13:40 Pauline
- Fabulous girl called Victoria found him this morning, with the help of her dad they rescued him and the vet they took him to read his chip and the rest as they say is history.
Thank you all so VERY VERY MUCH, what a community of help, incredible. I do hope that everyone else has such a happy ending.
Oh Harry was surprised to get out of the car and find his bed on the front door step! Thany you for all of your great ideas. - 2013-02-18 12:47 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- Hi Pauline. As there haven't been any sightings yet, I wondered if he might have got trapped/locked in somewhere, i.e a neighbour's garden. I'd try putting fliers through doors locally asking people to check gardens/sheds/garages. Can you take your other dog out and get him to bark, so that Harry responds? Try to stay strong x
- 2013-02-18 12:06 Pauline
- Thank you PaulaK he disappeared from The Chase
- 2013-02-18 12:05 Pauline
- Thank you Elly, we are getting more anxious as the time passes, the Bin men, post man, Tesco delivery man are all on the case as every dog walker we can speak to, just no sign......

- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Hope this handsome chap is home soon.

- Thank you to County Pet Services. Having a very sleepless night in our house, really hope he is ok, he is a very timid chap, rarely barks and hugely friendly.

- Pauline I hope Harry returns home where he belongs very soon, I lived in the CR5 area for most of my life but now in Wiltshire wish I was closer to help however, I have posted this on facebook on my personal page and my business page as I have many friends in your area. Good luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed x

- All a bit difficult and empty in our house tonight, please do look out for us. He is called Harry because he is so happy, and yes he really does smile about good things, like a walk, other dogs, a ball, his teddy and good all round fun.
- 2013-02-17 22:11 Pauline
- thank you Julie

- Thank you helpers, we are so worried about him, he is a charmer!
- 2013-02-17 21:58 Pauline
- Thank you Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum. He is a real home lover and never goes more than 20 yards away on the rare occasions he is off the lead and outside the house, afraid he is just too handsome and too friendly for his own good. We fear he has readily hopped into someone's vehicle. Some posters are already up and more to follow tomorrow. Good idea for the bed outside.
- 2013-02-17 21:37 Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
- Pauline - if he's escaped through an open door or gate, try to leave an entrance open somewhere over night, so that if he returns of his own accord (which many often do) he's got somewhere safe to stay. Maybe leave his bed out too, or an item of clothing with your scent on it. If he's not back by morning, you'll need to get up LOADS of posters in order to get the sightings coming in xx
