Thanks everyone.
Put some posters round the and spoke to lots of people but no one seemed to recognise him...however it is a very densely populated area.
Sadly his owners have not come forward to claim him and he was fostered via the holding kennels due to his old age.
The fantastic news is that dear old 'Jerry' has been rehomed...all the best to you old boy xxx

'Jerrys' time is now up. No one did come forward to reclaim him therefore he is going to rescue as soon as transport is arranged. Anyone interested in rehoming him please contact rescueaidforanimals@yahoo.co.uk I will then give you details of the rescue involved in his welfare, thank you.

Bless him he's probably disorientated and can't remember his way home. Sometimes I think I am heading that way too !! Hope he's soon back home although he shouldn't be let roam !!

This is the latest info I have. There's a row of pebble dash semi's at the side of the old virgin media buliding. These houses are behind a row of privets and are council properties. The streets are possibly called Eastdeans. He was seen several weeks ago wondering in that direction after being disturbed while lying on the grass

Thanks for letting us know Susan he looks too frail to be anywhere other than in a nice cosy home xx
Susan
A lady I know is fostering him at the moment so he's not in the pound thank goodness.x

Have volunteers in the area been contacted/ emailed minigirl do you know to assist?
RAFAJulie
North Parkway in Seacroft. He had no collar, tag or microchip and the residents who I spoke to in the complex had never seen him before. I got the call through for him around lunchtime and he'd already been there about 3 hours, just laying on the grass and only lifting his head when anybody went near him, but not trying to get up and leave so the dog warden has stated.

Hi Susan- do you know the road he was found on at all? thanks x
mathers22
Bless him hope his owners are soon found xx
Susan
Hi there. I sent a message about this dog to your site because i didn't know he was on here. I was wondering if you could get your helpers to put posters up near where he was found. I think it could possibly an elderly persons dog and might not know the procedure on getting their dog back. Warden said she didn't think he could have walked far because he was very doddery on his legs...bless him. Thank you.
