- We read the article in the Daily Mail about Maudie, both with interest and sadness, and hope that she is returned safe and well as soon as possible. We also have a Boarder, called Ollie, and know only too well how feisty they can be, and at the same time be devoted to their owners. Remain vigilant. Our best wishes are with you. - Excellent article in the Daily Mail - well done! Really hope this media will bring Maudie home. Hopefully it will also bring to the forefront of the general publics' minds the reality that so many dogs are stolen and sold on in pubs or held to ransom! Have you seen the story about Wallace who was reunited last week ... so much for a nation of dog lovers!! All the best and good luck in getting your beautiful little girl back. - Oh we have, we have, and so have manhy others.. but we have over 50 acres, and there are hundreds of acres around, and a mass of badger holes in particular... if she was down one, she can`t be alive by now.. we are heartbroken. But I still think she was stolen.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- We live in a farmhouse on 50 acres.. farm lands all round.. she vanished out of the door across to a rabbit..hunt have been notified.. she is known to the gamekeepers on the next door estate, all the village, other farms etc.. everyone is looking.. all local horse riders... we have been round and round all our land and the adjacent several times and taken our other Border with us.. he is a sad, lonely little dog at the moment.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Could you go back to the man at the kennels and ask where this dog was handed in to if it wasn't your own vets as it must have been handed in somewhere? Dolly 6.2.05Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank you for all comments..no joy at kennels alas.. he reported it as being a Border taken in by the local vet but it turned out to be our own vets, who a. know her and b. have scanned her for microchip... I rang them but they hadn`t in fact had any Border taken to them. They are going to put up poster, tell everyone etc. We are still distraught and just desperate to have her home..I`d give anymoney not just the reward money, no questions asked.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
