Merlin is now with Cery and Tony travelling back to Tony's home. Cery says he is fine and acting like nothing ever happened.

Merlin has been caught this morning after following Roxi and Sian into the house. Cery did some overnight vigils and has seen him regularly, she confirmed that this is Merlin. This dog which we are sure is Merlin is still around and running loose, he has been sighted on the same road.

We are baffled as Merlin certainly isn't back with his owner. Have commented on Merlin's page, asking sammy kaye for more info. Newport pound have no record of such a dog.

We probably won't know if this dog is Merlin until he is caught, but there are some good people working together to catch him. Thank you so much tweet01 for making the possible match. Merlin was one of a litter of 16 males who were as alike as peas in a pod, so it's also possible it may be a litter brother.

I have spoken with Cery who will take a look. She has lots of photos of Merlin and will see if she thinks this dog could be a match.
