Wonderful news. I'm thinking that we should be getting the story out about just how many working dogs are getting reunited. Some reassurance for those who've had theirs stolen.

sorry should have suggested, if anyone out in Tilsworth today, sunday, whilst i have covered lots of visual aspects of the village, it wld be helpful if someone was down there and cld put posters in the letterboxes of the houses from the pub going out towards the golf club, these end at the horsey field abt 20 houses,as they back onto the fields and if she was free running she may be seen. I did the track that runs along the back of these but jst occurred to me that people only leave their houses by car, and these field stretch a long way.Thanks. Also stanbridge and Eggington as further suggestions......

Have cross posted several times on facebook pages of people with Working dogs & Spaniels in the local area. I also notice someone has put posters for Daisy & Buster all over the village of Flamstead (AL3 8).

I hope you get her home safely.Last edited: 2013-03-01 12:34:08 by User21

Hi Sedgewort Bramble we spoke yesterday. Here is the telephone number for Mix 96 a local radio station 01296 393396. I'm sure they will give Daisy "air" time especially as she's been stolen and possible dumped. You never know somebody may have picked her up travelling through. Good luck xx
ClaireC

I work in Leighton Buzzard, shared with all my friends and co workers, we will find Daisy
lilliegez
lets keep going with this and find daisy. keep posting on this and other sites. we cant let people get away with this. I wondered if anyone has been to properties and farms in tilsworth and asked around. is there anywhere in Leighton buzzard/heath and reach that you need posters putting up. has anyone been to stockgrove park office/rushmere and left posters. might be worth asking Leighton buzzard and Dunstable local papers to run a story.Last edited: 2013-02-28 20:45:08 by lilliegez

Robs daughter has said that Buster was found running around Tilsworth which leads us to think that they have (both hopefully) been dumped after being made too hot to handle. If you can help by getting out in the area to see if Daisy can be found locally to it would be fantastic. Thank you Last edited: 2013-02-28 01:01:51 by ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland

Luton/Beds TLOs have been helpful in the past.
ClaireC
The Council Travellers Liaison officers have been known to go into the sites and look for dogs I believe. However you need to make the Council TLO aware.
paddy
There are travelers sites in this area, Toddbury Farm on Slapton Rd, Greenacres and The Stables on the Stanbridge Rd ( next to Mead Open Farm ) Are they approachable ? Could the Police check it out ? Is it a good idea to poster outside ?
lilliegez
we all know what type of people steel are beautiful pets. don't like to judge people but if you live near anyone you think is suspicious keep a look out. lets find these dogs. if you have them we know you read this forum, take them somewhere safe and give them back. Lets turn the tables and watch those whom we know are capable of stealing are pets.Last edited: 2013-02-26 18:51:08 by lilliegez

Something has to be done about all these dogs being stolen, the law needs to be changed....at the moment dog thiefs are not punished, there is no deterrant....hope Buster and Daisy are found quickly x
