- Moonbeam. Just a thought. You put a different picture of Murphy on facebook. It was a lovely one of him lying on a sofa I think. Would it be possible to make that your second photo on this page, because he looked quite different and the two already here are so similar. Someone might just recognise the new one. Sending hugs X

- Thankyou so much to everyone for all your help and suggestions - I check out every reference sent me but none of the dogs have proved to be Murphy. I think now that he must have been stolen, to have disappeared so quickly. I did tell the police that at the start of this search, and have a Crime Reference Number. All terribly sad.

- Any chance this might be Murphy? http://www.doglost.co.uk/poster.php?dogId=61518

Elderly dog found south Bristol no picture but there is a phone number - 2013-12-16 02:56 Seeks
- I am so sorry you still have not got your boy home but he might well still be alive and ok. Its very hard to have them missing for any length of time and the idea that they may have died seems to never be far away yet he may not have.
I think it more likely someone has taken him in and they don't know he has you out there heartbroken and looking for him. I wish I could find him for you as we have one that has only been gone 4 weeks and its so hard and painful so I really do send you a hug and a hope that your will be able to find out where he is and what happened to him xLast edited: 2013-12-16 02:57:35 by Seeks - 2013-12-15 21:03 Unknown
- Sadly, I have decided that my darling boy, missing since February, is probably already dead - in which case I hope he died quickly. If by any miracle someone took him in and is caring for him I would ask them to please let me know, to set my mind at rest. If he is happy with you I would not take him back but would ask if I might share him, so that his brother (nearly 17 years old) could meet him again and I could hold him again. I would happily pay future Vet's bills in return. Alternatively, the offer of £1,000 reward for safe return still stands.

- Copy and pasted from Facebook....Me and my mate spotted a dog like this a week ago walking past currys up to the main fiahponds road, tried to catch it but it growled and ran we kept trying but couldnt get hold of it and it ran up towards the roundabout by morrisons petrol station. Im sure the dog had some sort of red collar . Not sure if this is the same dog but thought id mention it just incase.

- Owner was out until very late last night searching the area. There is a big allotment area, and Ive suggested she sarches sheds, etc, and contacts highways people, as very near main roads and motorway. Ive updated the poster, as owner told me last night that Murphy suffers from Auto Immune disease, and is on daily steroids to keep him well. She is going to put him in the local papers too Last edited: 2013-02-27 08:12:20 by Mollychops
