I am just so sad for you in your loss of Fagin. Please try to take some consolation that you got your boy back rather than never knowing what happened to him and you will now be able to lay him to rest. RIP Fagin xx

An Army instructor phoned to say there was a sighting of a GSD running along the canal from the Kings Head Harvester pub GU16 6NR canal side heading towards Brookwood. The owner and her son have been down at the Frimley Green end of the canal briefly this morning but had to get back to work :( but Petra's daughter is on her way over to search. Fingers croosed and prays for his safe return please.
I so hope it's him.

Hello all, I'm sorry to say that we have found Fagin, but unfortunately it looks like he has been hit by a car and has sadly passed away. He was found near to where he went missing. Thank you to everyone that has helped us, sorry the news isn't better.

Hi all, I noticed that you said you postered opposite the school but what about the chances of getting the school to send kids home with perhaps a photo of Fagin. Or do they have a website where details can be placed of her being missing as a further thought. Try the Post Office sorting office as postmen see many dogs on their walk delivering and also local milkman if you have one. Milkman as you are aware are mainly out early morning when its nice and quiet. Further thought that as you are in contact with Range Warden what about the camp itself. I can't remember much about Pirbright now but assuming they still have married quarters they would have a camp adjutant who could possibly put something in their camp orders that go out to all those who work within or live on the patch to make them aware also. Good luck xxLast edited: 2013-02-28 09:53:05 by ClaireC

Biggsd member Debbie and I went out to the area Fagin went missing at midnight and put posters up along Church Lane right down into Pirbright village, opposite the school and around the village green then back along Grange Rd. We were surprised the police didn't arrive to see what we were up to lol.
There are many friends and Bigs members who are meeting up either Saturday and or Sunday to search the ranges. The details will on Fagin's FB page and BIGGSD Lost/Found section.
If anyone is available and would like to join in the search please let us know on here, Fb page or Biggsd.

Pleased to see a clearer picture of Fagin as once printed out the first pic isn't as clear.

Petra now has the MOD Ranges Warden's number as he has proved helpful with lost dogs in the past. The workmen he supervises will be aware that Fagin is missing and can look out for him.

Fingers crossed and spreading the word. Fagin's facebook page:

Wondered if he could have caught up somewhere? Would he necessarily bark if this was the case? If he has a favourite squeaky toy, try taking that out with you when searching, or another dog he knows. Have you left something with your scent on where he went missing?Last edited: 2013-02-27 09:45:31 by Barney 'n' Ozzie's mum
