Positive sighting of Brandy just now in - middle of Gosbecks roman fields, lady got within 4 feet of Brandy still in her red harness and collar, she headed into the long grass in the middle of Gosbecks fields and then disappeared from there.

Tonights search has just finished and it seems its more likely that she comes out early dawn and beds down at night. keeping to the same area which is good

Bumped for searches. Well done JB & Tiga. x
Tiga
Just seen this has not been updated. I have just returned home after tracking a number of dogs in Essex with Tiga.
Thursday evening we tracked Bella from Gosbecks out of the park and along the layer road to the range. We can get access now if needed but last night I went back again to Gosbecks and Tiga refused to go where the dog walker said Brandy went again but Tiga tracked from the car park through the centre of Colchester at midnight, through all the clubbers and party goers, all the scraps on the pavement, ignoring all the noise and tracked all the way to within 50 yards of where Brandy lives! At teh last turn Tiga did not go left as hoped but right and headed back off towards the centre of town and presumably going back to Gosbecks. Today there are searches by Bellas Angels and Beagle UK - Brandy, show yourself to a fellow beagle today.

Hi. We are very local, and can be available tomorrow if you need us. We're used to long walks so can cover a fair distance. Let me know if we can help.
Lissa
Hi there,
I live locally - can't do tomorrow but if you're still searching on Sunday I'm happy to come and help...just say the word. xx

Brandywood, you have a good team going there and Tiga is amazing. Do hang in there - you are doing brilliantly and don't forget to scent for her to find you too. If she finds your scent she will follow it as per the instructions I sent you. With your scent, you can lead her back to where you lost her, or to a safe place - preferably next to a poster and an old blanket or towel that smells of home for her to lie on. You CAN find her! You are doing fab! x

Another update - I'll copy and paste this everywhere, and please also do the same if you feel I've missed somewhere:

Thank everyone again for your well-wishes, keep sharing, nearly 4000 shares is incredible!

Craig's out with Tiga and her owner, so an update there. Apparently Tiga is sniffing around in an area 'like a demon' (his words). The preference is for no help just yet tonight to let Tiga do her job at being the utterly brilliant search dog that she is.

I'll update when I know more - please keep us in your thoughts (going to cry again, must stop that)

I am just wishing success in the search for Brandy. I am not near enough to be of any help but just want you to know that I am sending positive vibes as another Beagle owner who understands how anxious you are. Hope Tiga N Sanne is successful again.

More photos, a plea to people not to search alone, and small update, although there's no news, has been posted on BeaglesUK, K9 Lifesavers, Lazydogs Old Heath Road, Team Beagle Lost and Found. It's possible I missed somewhere, I'm sorry - the contents of the update was this:

Brandy, Lost Beagle, Colchester - UPDATE:

Firstly can I thank everyone searching and ask, please, don't search alone. It's out in the open - think of your personal safety.

Secondly, It's been 24 hours since Brandy bolted and there's still no sign of her.

Tiga N Sanne, an amazing Beagle who tracks lost dogs and her lovely owner have very kindly offered to try to track down her last whereabouts which will give us a much much better idea of where to search.

She will be within a triangle. I'm told most Beagles are found relatively close by to where they were last sighted. Craig Wood will be out later this afternoon and evening with Tiga and her owner calling and tracking Brandy with searchlights, items of Brandys for her scent and a good deal of patience.

If they don't find her they will be able to give us the best places to look for her. I will organise a search for Saturday 2nd March. I'll take advice from anyone when's the best time to go out and will need some people to help co-ordinate our efforts as well as volunteer to search because I've never done this before.

Again, we're all so grateful for your help - you have our heartfelt thanks. STAY SAFE, don't go out alone, and please volunteer for a co-ordinated search on Saturday. Help us find her. She's scared and we miss her terribly.
