Oh my goodness! I can't believe it! I am soooo happy! Had a text reply from the number which turned out to be daughter's. She asked me to call her Dad about Vixen, but Dad can't read/see properly. I was a bit upset thinking this poor man must be missing his dog and doesn't know this is all going on or what to do. I am sooo glad posters finally went up! Phew! So glad message got through. Thank you, Jayne. Makes it all worthwhile. xxx Last edited: 2013-03-09 22:03:38 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

Just had an email to say owner put up posters today and almost immediately got a call from a family that had been looking after Vixon all this time.....Poster power again...Tx Kimmy bear...I am sure it was your text with advise that prompted owner to put up posters.....another one of your dogs back!

Debs, does owner know to scent? This could get to a certain place, in a safe area. x

Went to langdon hills yesterday with 15 dogs and made people aware of vixon but no sightings..its such a big place though
Debs
owner has been to follow up possible sightings. I have suggested that postering the area is a must as at present there is not any up

I'm tracking at langdon hills tomorrow with a large dog group. vixon could easily have wandered up there as it runs for quite a distance between laindon and horndon area. we will keep an eye out for her.

Hello me again been back down didn't realise where she was spotted was at back end of laindon/Dunton nature reserve there is a visitors centre there but I was too far away on foot to go there. Spoke to more dog walkers no more sightings but it is huge there. Just a thought there's a rescue place on Dunton road near the reserve worth a try if anymore sightings tonight I will of course join paws crossed

She was spotted near Aylesbury avenue which is near tescos in Laindon on high view avenue she was spotted near Aylesbury drive but as I understand disappeared into the bridle path which is between Egerton drive and denehurst gardens on the right hand side as you drive away from tescos with Aylesbury being on your left going up there again tonight as she's been spotted twice now roughly the same time -

Please can anyone help with postering urgently? It might be best to print one from your printer and then photocopy, even black and white, as they last well even in rain - printer ink runs, even in plastic covers. If we can get a few up in this area, we can get more sightings and catch this poor girl. Thank you. x
