- Have updated picture and changed details to where actually found and caught.
He is staying in a foster homes in the area that he is found (Maidstone) and is doing the remainder of his legal time in foster with a rescue.
He seems a lovely looking boy and surely someone must be missing him?

- If same dog and both sightings on march 1st he is covering quite some distance!
The last sighting of a dog being hit came via this facebook message put on late last night. It has been reported to dog warden and i think RSPCA ( but i am sure thay will only attend if caught not try and catch)
If sighting this doG sounds easily spooked so approach must be slowley with no eye contact. Food may help but if injured might not be tempted. If trying to catch need something like a quick slip lead if can get close enough.
Will send out more alerts so that local PCSOs and police aware plus ask if can go out on NHW .
ANY UPDATES OR SIGHTINGS SUGGEST THERE ARE MONITORED ON HERE.
URGENT!!! THERE IS AN INJURED BROWN GREYHOUND/LARGE WHIPPET DOG IN VINTERS PARK CLOSE TO THE QUEEN ANN WITH A BROWN LEATHER COLLAR. THE POOR THING HAS BEEN HIT BY A CAR AND HAS A BROKEN LEG. PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS DOG AND FIND THE OWNER. I HAVE TRIED TO HELP IT BUT IT GOT SPOOKED BY A CAR GOING TO FAST AND HAS RUN OFF. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A MISSING DOG MATCHING THIS DESCRIPTION PLEASE INFORM THEM!!
Would suggest local put up posters in thIS area and alert vets as often anyone who has lost their dog will ask at vets.

- This dog has had people running around all over maidstone. Main area of sigtings is Dean st (near horse shoes pub) and heath rd area. There have also been sightings at Sittingbourne Rd by the Queen Anne pub of a similar dog been hit by a car, a few sightings from Queen Anne, Vinters area, sainsburys area and bus lane area by sainsburys. We r trying to work out if its same dog or 2 diff 1s but reports appear 2 indiacte if it is diff dogs they r very similar looking. Either way the dog has a badly broken leg (its been reported as hanging and bleeding badly. Ive suggested that over next day or so we should log sightings and rough times (as well as whether the coxheath area dog is hurt) 2 work out if hes roaming a certain area to a certain timescale maybe????? Also this will let us know 4 certain if its 1 or 2 dogs. Lots of people have been out looking in areas of sighting for injured dog this eve but sightings have run dry 4 now so i think its just a matter of time 2 work out wats going on, although times not something we have with a badly injured dog:(
