Grommit is our neighbours dog, we heard there was a siting of a stray dog matching Grommit's description looking very hungry and bedraggled in Clacton on Sea on Tuesday this week (13/12/05). She was seen being fed biscuits by an elderly lady who was wheeling an old brown shopping trolley, maybe she even followed the old lady home. Her owners have been scouring Clacton all week and have covered the area with posters. Lets hope someone else saw her as well and reads this and she is soon reunited with her Mum and Dad.

Grommit is still out in the cold! No sightings of her at all, I just hope someone has found her and is looking after her. Its way to cold for any dog to be roaming, bless her heart.

Ronnie, I'd really appreciate it if you would phone. Too many different people phoning can be rather upsetting and I need to know before trying tto place Grommit's story. Thanks.

I am at a loss. the owners called me on Friday and said the search for Saturday was off as there was a shoot on at the place he was going to look and he had notified all those taking part to keep a look out for Grommit?? He was supposed to ring me this morning to tell me where we where going to be looking and I have heard nothing. I sincerley hope that no news is good news but I really don't know what more I can do. I dont want them to feel like I am pestering them but I really would like to know if Grommit is in the warmth of her own basket again. I think I will have to call and find out.

The heartache is horrendous but try and stay positive as there are so many good samaritans out there and they will be looking out for Grommit.

Just been in contact with owner and I am going to meet them tomorrow to help search for Grommit. Poor love, its freezing and to cold for an old girl to be out at night. Lets hope she comes home today and I dont have to make that journey tomorrow.....
