- This is FANTASTIC NEWS!! :)))))
Hope it helps the family of the injured mum and baby to put all their efforts into them, without worrying about little Dougal. Well done that finder and all the searchers! - 2013-03-06 10:24 lwyndham
- I have just seen an update on the Evening Post website by Rspca Llys Nini.
“GOOD NEWS - Dougal is home! Thank you to all the RSPCA Llys Nini supporters who shared this appeal on Facebook and Twitter - there were over 1,200 of you, all the people in Baglan who looked for him and the gentleman in Smallwood Rd who actually found him and fed him and contacted his people. He looks good and not a lot worse for his adventure! Hoping for a similar happy endings for the people involved in the accident” - 2013-03-06 10:10 Belle
- Thanks for updating Sian and delighted to see the Post has printed a story with pic of Dougal. Thanks for your text also - was about to call you when I saw lwyndham's post. The quotes you have given from the family are very good. Definitely worth passing the Post in a few days if the search continues, so keep that for a follow up. BBC Wales Today may also be interested in following up the story once the mum and baby are out of danger. Please keep us updated and I'm sure we can get more publicity for Dougal. Fingers crossed and best wishes to the injured family. x

- Here is some of the detail posted in the press. The dogs name is DOUGAL
Dougal is three years old, black in colour, with a tiny little white beard under his mouth.
"He's a very friendly dog," said the relative. "He would definitely respond if someone called his name.
"He was wearing a collar and lead. The collar is tan, and it has a disc with his name and the family telephone number on it.
"That is our concern — because Dougal was still wearing the lead he might have got himself tangled.
"It would be lovely to get him back, it would be a little bit of joy among everything that is happening

I too will be keeping a look out as I live in the area, will also be walking my dog armed with a spare lead and clip-on collar.
Let hope his family make a healthy recovery and are reunited with Doodles very soon.

Have you seen family pet Doodles, missing after crash in Port Talbot?Woman and baby injured after Baglan collision
The family of a woman and baby who were seriously injured after a car crash are appealing for help in tracing the family's dog.
The 40 year-old was carrying the baby when she was struck in Port Talbot.
She was also walking family dog Doodles at the time of the incident.
Her family have released a picture of the dog in the hope it'll be found by a member of the public.
