- Our DW has advised me that she has tried to contact original owners who listed Indie, but not heard anything as yet.
We do not know whether this dog was lost a second time, after being lost and found the same day in 2013, or what exactly happened. But so far no one has claimed Indie. However, we can rest assured that Indie will be cared for if no owner comes forward as she is with a good DW who will do right by her. - 2015-11-30 00:10 Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

- Well done to DW for Scanning & To Doglost for Helping , I just cannot understand why Owners hadn't updated Petlog details , even more so that Indie was Lost & Surely Her details shouldve been double-checked ?! wouldn't Petlog have asked to confirm address etc when Owners reported Indie as Lost ?Last edited: 2015-11-23 19:53:48 by #stoppettheft

- The Basildon dog warden has just rung to say they have scanned Indie with a halo scanner and came up with our number. Have given her owners details as not up to date on petlog. Though it does seem that Indie got back the next day and owners forgot to tell us...just as well as the chip number was stored on halo as missing so we were able to give details to warden.....

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
