Almost 9 years of being missing and thank God for that vet! Stolen to use for breeding has deprived this poor girl and her rightful family years of stress. I hope the police are able to prosecute whoever stole her. Enjoy the rest of your life Cassie and so happy for you all xxx

We would just like to say a great BIG thank you to all the people that have helped over the years and given us support in trying to find Cassie.
It was very emotional getting her back and with 3 of her puppies at the age of 9.
We are giving her lots of love and she is getting on well with our other dog, we gave the puppies to good homes cant thank you enough for all your help its just amazing. Should be made into a film !!!! It was the best Christmas Present Jayne and Stuart xxxxxx

Unbelievable good news. I cannot imagine the heartbreak beautiful Cassie’s family have been through for all those years, and that they have missed out on so much time together, but hoping she is ok and settles back where she truly belongs, and is loved and treasured for the rest of her life. A lady called jane dell has posted on Facebook about a chocolate cocker spaniel found in Bedfordshire about 3 years old believed stolen. Looks very like yours. Hope so :)

Bit of along shot, but worth a look. 7 day pound dog (chocolate WCS)going into Working Cocker Spaniel Rescue care in Somerset. Don't know how to link, but can be seen on their FB page. Hopefully the pound would have scanned her, but you can never be sure.

Hi Stuart, I have shared what information I have with Jane. Our dogs have gone under very similar circumstances. Let's hope we can get the police interested enough to follow this lead and just perhaps, our girls are together. Everything crossed.

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. It's been a while but you never know who may remember something if their memories are jogged. Good luck. So glad she's chipped.

I Have seen the report in today's surrey mirror.
Is it possible that there is a link between the theft of Sprocket [49295] from his garden in the Alders Rd area on 25th February and subsequent return on 2nd March and the possible theft of Cassie?

I walk my dogs in the Gatton Park [Nutwood] area and will look out for Cassie there.I have seen the posters in the Nutwood area The National Trust ranger is aware as are the local horse riders and I will advise all the dog walkers I see.
If it is possible that Cassie has been stolen the police and the Surrey Mirror should be told.

It may be an idea to just say "Reward offered" rather than give the amount, especially as Cassie may have been stolen. I really hope she is back with you safe & sound. Keep spreading the word on Facebook & make her too hot to handle. x
