Hi there was a dog like this wondering round the back of St helens school ,monk bretton barnsley last year and lived in a home near there i have not seen the dog since but may help to find owner if its the same dog

Hi everyone I am the lady who is fostering this lovely old boy. He has settled in really well and doesnt ask for much. Just a warm bed food and he loves his power walks lil. He is like a steam train. He is currently having his vacc and has just been neutered. So all is well with lucky luke xx

He's (Lucky Luke) still in foster home and has settled in well...showed no agressive signs at all, they have no worries about rehoming him and will be going on the re-homing pages over the weekend..hopefully will find his forever home soon....well done to everyone! xx

Hi Leanne86, he is in a foster home where he will be assessed, if you have a forever home for him or another,or want to foster please contact friends of akitas and they will be able to help you further. He has been named Luke xx

Hi Tylers mum,I think there were a few people not sleeping very well this week. He is in for long term assesment as was very unhappy in the pound,
even overnight he seems much happier so hopefully he will continue to improve,thanks everyone for all the xposting etc xx

I am so pleased to hear the good news, fingers crossed he passes with flying colours. I had a rather restless night on sunday trying desperatly to contact Akita rescues trying to find someone to help. Please can you keep us update with his progress x x

He has now been taken into rescue by friends of akitas for further assessment. In foster place at moment, travelled well and been for a walk.
XX and just heard spent a quiet night & actually wagged his tail when he 1st saw his carer this morning!

Hi, I did check previous lost dogs but nothing looked similar and was running out of time as was overdue to be pts.Managed to find emergency rescue. Will update details later

Hi Laura, i think this dog is a lot darker than the one you saw but and it was lost in 2010, might be worth someone phoning them though.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
