just found this bit of a long time ago it has no other information ie:sex, age colour dont know if she still has the dog worth a try I found a Yorkshire Terrier running in the middle of the road in Greenwich, London SE10 on Sunday 8th January at approx 4.30pm. I contacted all the relevant authorities thinking this dog would be immediately claimed but to my surprise no one has yet come forward. am prepared to keep the dog at home until reunited with its rightful owner. Because of unscrupulous people in this world I am not going to give a description of this animal on any internet sites nor post a photograph. If you have lost a Yorkshire Terrier please contact me with full details and photo, if possible. I promise to respond to genuine enquiries as I will not let the dog go without being fully convinced it is going back to its legal owner. I am not seeking any reward other than this dog going safely home to where it belongs. Please contact estharrod@onetel.com Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Theft by finding is still a criminal offence. If you find a dog (or anything else), I thought you were duty bound to report said find to the police, even if you do take it home and care for it pending the rightful owner coming forward. And looking at the first post here, threats ands demands for money are also offences - quite serious ones I'd have thought!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

At last a possible lead on Honey! A local resident has been talking to a local lady of the night who admits "finding" a simlar dog just before Christmas and has refused to hand it into the police or RSPCA. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ben & Buddy's owner
Please try to get a photo posted asap as it makes such a difference for recognition. Please contact the police because even if they won't react to the calls regarding Honey, they have to take action if you class them as nuisance calls, as does the service provider (BT?)! Please read the reunited pages to give you strength. Hope Honey is back home promptly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner is receiving daily phone calls asking for more money-currently its gone from ?50 up to ?500-the "man" is saying he is holding Honey over e Railway bridge and will kill her if the money is not paid!!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The owner should contact her local radio and TV. I am sure with a child with special needs and the distress it is causing, surely they will take it up. A few months ago three Cavalier were stolen from their home and their owner was receiving threatening calls, and calls asking for sexual favours, the police soon took up the case when it went out on air. Force their hand if you have to, try anything to get this baby back home where she belongs, Surely it will pull on the heart strings of the hardest heart! Come home soon Honey xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
