- 2013-04-21 19:20 DebG1973
- They couldn't find the dog, but the owner spoke to the biker and it would appear it isn't Molly from the description.
- 2013-04-21 14:07 DebG1973
- Poor loves have been looking without success. Our informant is out on his bike and not responding to my FB requests to call. I will keep trying..... sorry.... x
- 2013-04-21 10:20 DebG1973
- Just spoken to the owner - they're setting off to look now.... really hope it's not her.... but it'll be someone's baby.... So sad!
- 2013-04-21 10:13 DebG1973
- He's just put this on my FB page: As you are driving from Abbey to Belmont it the first bit of dirt where you can pull in in your left. Its still a solid white line though, there's a path posted through the woods its about 50 feet in to the right of the path.
- 2013-04-21 10:11 DebG1973
- I've now passed him the full poster with contact details. If he doesn't get in touch let me know via here and I'll chase it up. Xx
- 2013-04-21 09:39 DebG1973
- A mountainbiker has told me he's seen a dead greyhound in the woods near Abbey Village. I sent him the photo to see if it was Molly and he responded 'Could be'. I really hope he's wrong. I only know him through FB so I've asked him to message me with his phone number so he can contact owner and direct them to see if this is Molly. Sorry to bear such horrible news.... I'll be in contact when I know more....

- Brilliant, prompt e-mail response from the Racing Post - thank you:
Please be assured that I will forward the details to the team at Racing Post Greyhound TV and ask them to do all they can when the show is broadcast on Wednesday evening. The Racing Post Greyhound TV channel only runs from Wednesday to Sunday but hopefully they may be able to air the content of your email.
We'll also send the details to the Racing Post greyhound desk and ask whether they can offer any advice or whether they can post the information via any form of media.

I understand Molly is a retired racing greyhound, although her career short… I have just telephoned the most helpful man at the Racing Post who was very interested to hear of the search for missing Molly. He asked that I forward the Doglost poster to him with a view of mentioning her during the live broadcasts of Racing Post Greyhound TV. Also he will look to add Molly to the classifieds of the Racing Post newspaper and possibly Live Greyhound Racing on Sky 3, Thursday evening 17/04? I do hope this may bring news of Molly.

- Concerning the chip: Molly isn't MICROCHIPPED! I have had that confrimed twice! Molly is Dizz 2013 partners dog and she thought Molly was chipped but she isn't which i was told when i spoke to her owner when she was put on here.
They did have a sighting but it turned out not to be Molly
I will be speaking to Dizz 2013 later on today so will get further information and update her page when i have that. - 2013-03-23 21:12 MAZ
- Can you direct to facebook - so I can follow info there as nothing's been updated on here re where she went missing ...
- 2013-03-22 07:24 MAZ
- It's horrible weather here - like a blizzard and has been all night ... I hope she's somewhere warm. PLEASE can we have some more info as to exactly where she went missing ... there's lots of countryside round here.
- 2013-03-21 23:10 houndiegirl
- just read a post on facebook fro the owner saying the microchip details were registered to her old address as hey never changed the info when they moved. its not too late still!!! just give petlog a ring and tell them and they can put a contact number against the chip details. if she doesnt have the chip number they can find it via her old address and if shes a tattooed greyhound the GBGB can tell you the chip number if you know her old racename.

- Sorry to see that MOLLY STILL MISSING is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (49909)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
