- Oh no! This is too sad. God bless you sweet Foxy, you are safe now precious and have earned your little wings. Foxy's family, please know it would have been quick and without pain. She can now rest peacefully because you did find her. Foxy is a special fur baby and God knows that. He was there, waiting to catch her. You will always be together forever. She's only a whisper away. In time may your hearts know peace. xxx

- Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

- I am very sad to have to update Foxys page and change her over to Rainbow Bridge....it was our fear, as this was so close to the Railway lines...Foxy's owner really did believe the area was fenced..but obviously not sufficiently...bearing in mind it is law for lines to be secure within city boundaries ,this is an area near houses and even a primary school,so I will be making a report for the fences to be checked there....To Foxy Run Free in the sunshine at Rainbow bridge restored to health once more until you meet your loved ones again.xxx
My thoughts are with Foxy's Family at this very sad time.Xxx - 2013-03-24 08:03 LindaT
- Just looked at the straydog photo link below...it does look like an older version of Foxy... I wonder how old the doglost poster is as there is no age given on the lost details regarding age? Could this be an old photo of a young Foxy?

- Is this Foxy? http://leighdogsandcatshome.co.uk/straydogphotos.html If you run through the photos there is a dog that looks very similar to Foxy.

- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Glad she's microchipped. Hope she's home soon in this horrid weather.

- Give your local Post office a poster to display and if you have a Post Office Sorting Office ask if they would put up a poster as postmen will always keep a lookout. If you have a local milk delivery ask if they would have a poster. Also make local vets aware that she is missing. Good luck xLast edited: 2013-03-21 20:28:39 by ClaireC
