Aw bless him! Fantastic news, was really worried about him after hearing no news for a few days with the weather being so bad - if only he could tell all about his little adventure eh?! Absolutely chuffed for the owner and his dad, welcome home Bruno xxxLast edited: 2013-03-29 09:32:42 by rescue_mum

Admin: Any chance of a bump up for this little lad please, on account of the possible sighting on Cowpen Industrial Estate this morning? Thanks xLast edited: 2013-03-25 20:22:05 by rescue_mum

Thanks, we had a look earlier around Norton road area on our way to Billingham too, we actually did give one of the workmen a poster with Bruno on & he said he was going to ask the other workers & put the poster up in their cabin so even if the dog around that area isn't Bruno, it would mean 1 less dog off the streets!
lilbec29
Yeah the owner's been in touch with the wardens this morning as well as contacting them on Thursday/Friday but no luck yet. I think maybe there's 2 dogs matching Bruno's description as somebody also spotted a lookalike over Cowpen industrial estate this morning & there's no way he could get from Norton road yesterday dinnertime to Cowpen this morning.. now that one is more likely to be Bruno, I did think Norton was far for his little legs to go from Billingham centre! His owner is over there looking now so I'll update if I hear anything!

Drove the full length of Norton Rd on my way home. The roadworks were a nightmare but they did serve to slow me down enough so I was able to have a good look across the fields/scrub areas and also up the side streets and alleys. Sadly no sign of little Bruno :-( That said, it might be a good idea to have a talk to the guys manning the traffic signals, give them a poster and ask them to contact you if they see him. Anything's worth a try eh?! I'll carry on keeping an eye out for him, good luck xxx

Any news? xxx

Hi lilbec29 make sure you notify surrounding dog wardens as well as Stockton Council Warden, just in case he's wandered further afield.
I'll check on here before i leave work tonight as i can drive home via Norton Road and see if i can see him pottering about - hopefully he'll already be reunited by then tho xxx
lilbec29
Really do hope someone has taken him in, his dad isn't coping well at home without him the owner says. I've asked my friend in Portrack to keep an eye out when he's walking his dog, going to have another look round Tilery myself tomorrow, put some more posters up too!
rescue_mum
Hopefully someone has taken this little guy in as it's very cold tonight and they'll contact the dog warden in the morning. Here's hoping he's back home safe very soon xxx

Have shared on fb, have friends in Norton. Good luck finding lovely Bruno xxx

No sign in Tilery/Norton Road are, put up 10 posters in shops/bus stops etc. & asked a few dog walkers but nobody had seen anything.

Turns out the sighting in old Billingham was another dog who was just outside his garden. Bruno has been spotted outside Nisa on Norton Road 1 hour ago. I'm heading over there in approx. 30 minutes armed with a lead, treats & posters.
