This springer is safe, he lives on Sunniside Road and has been getting out of his garden that leads into Lottie Woods. Dog is healthy and safe. Thank you all who have helped x

Thats great Bazil, i passed your mobile no to the man and his family that went out searching yesterday so they will phone you if they see anything,because they were phoning me but if they phone you direct you can get there quicker,
Do you know if anyone is still putting food out for the little mite the gentleman in question took food yesterday x

Got a call this morning that this dog had been seen again on the Bridle path in Lottie's wood. A man followed it to try and see where it went, this time it went off to the right from the path. he lost sight of it soon after. Really appreciate getting the call asap.
I went up there and had a good search around for about 2hrs but did not see the springer. Lets hope we get another sighting soon.
Can this dogs page be bumped because of sighting please x

Iv been trying to get in touch with Kevin who went to look for it today but his facebook not working and that's how i usually get in touch with him,i will get a message to him tomorrow and see if hes seen anything x

Hi Bazil sorry i wasnt at my computer when you sent the message earlier,i put that date on because it asked for a date and the lady iv discused with you said it was two weeks,its my fault iv put the wrong date on it was 15 march and thats the only one iv spoke to but she has spoke to other people who have also seen the poor thing im going to see if there has been anymore sightings today .

I have noticed the date above against Found - 15th Feb....is this the first time the dog was sighted sandymal...and do you know who saw it first please? Lets hope we get another sighting today, Marny is up there now, postering and leaflet dropping.....great work Marny hope you see this poor springer....

sandymal can you ask the lady who you have spoken too, to call or text the first contact number above please. We need to know where the dog was sighted both times today. I have talked to a lady who is putting food out for this poor dog and we agreed for her to text or call me immediately when she sees the dog?? I know this lady's name so if posible can you text me the name of the lady you are in contact with, we need to know if its the same person? sandymal can I also ask you please if you get anymore info can i be contacted asap by text or tel call. I will call the person back so i pay cost of call. Thank you x

Hi Bazil iv spoke to lady again i know i keep saying lady i do know her name but its not up to me to disclose it anyway she has seen the dog again this afternoon and again at about 8pm

Hi the dog warden has got back to me after getting message i left with the girl in his office,They said the same as the RSPCA they cant come and get it unless it has been contained in one area sorry to be so negative but im hitting brick walls

Trevor, Marny and me have been up to Sunniside today to have a look around the area where this springer has been sighted. Spoke to a local man who had seen it and I have also spoken to the lady who has put food out for it. At this moment there is no photo available of this dog. The people who have seen it do not know if it is a male or female and think, and I stress 'think' it has a full tail. The dog is liver/white. It is nervous and very, very thin so may have been lost for a while, and could have come from anywhere. It is now a matter of getting sightings reported back to us asap and watching and waiting. Hope this spaniel has a safe cozy den somewhere x

Hi i have been intouch with the dog warden and there going to have a look for it too the ref no incase anyone wants to get in touch with them regarding sightings is 3330599 i have give them the mobile no of the lady who has seen it on several occasions so she can point out were it is going to hide iv also shared this on my group Dog Detectives xx

I will be back in touch with the lady again tomorrow and there has been a member of my group down that way today and not seen dog but the food seems to have been ate a bit but that could be fox or anything, i have tried dog warden over weekend but they arnt open until monday but i have been in touch with gateshead kennels and no one has reported a lost springer,but maybe the wardens might know more tomorrow x

Hi basil are you familiar with the area of Suniside,if you are there is a footpath oppposite Sunniside Club go in to the footpath and turn left follow the path down to the bottom and it turns right but the dog is going left into the overgrowth,i would be out looking night and day im not mobile myself but i do have other helpers walking that way and looking for it.

The lady who said she would put food out her back garden goes onto the footpath its no certain time of day as it has been seen at different times,no one has been able to get close enough to find out sex and as she didnt know what to look for didnt look for a collar.

Rspca have been phoned but they wont come out unless they know the exact area the dog is in
