It's was new forest ride near the Warren and entrance to the sewer works at around 10am xxx

Again thank you. i am finding it so comforting to read your comments. Tilly will be cremated tomorrow and we'll get her ashes back next Friday. Our hearts are truly broken and im so sad to think there are people out there that would do such things. I do believe in Karma though! Thank you dogslost..............you are doing an amazing job and will encourage people to donate to such a worthy cause xxxxxx

So very sorry to see thia about Tilly. My thoughts, and prayers are with her heartbroken family. Find comfort that one day you will see Tilly again, and she is still with you in spirit, and always will be. Night, night sweet Tilly, and play with the other "Rainbow babies" at the bridge. That is dreadful. I hope these people can live with themselves. The people who kept a dog that so obviously belonged to someone else & then dumped her & the person who hit her & left her by the side of the road. I know what I would do to them!

Thank you guys. we think possibly she had been with someone and dumped back in the area because she looked well and not like a dog that had been out in the area for near two weeks without food and water. xxx

I am so very sorry for you all. We lost our dog on the road in Warfield and again the driver never stopped. Just heartbreaking.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Has n e 1 checked on facebook, niall lester has a female yorkie in quite similar n looks like she wearing a red collar, pls can some1 checkit out as she will b off 2 rescue soon, she is also microchipped but owners uncontactable x

So sorry to hear Tilly is still missing. Just a thought - have you leafleted door to door in the area she was last seen asking people to check their gardens? When my friend's dog went missing a few years ago she was found hidden and terrified in someone's back garden - they'd only checked because they had a flyer through the door asking people to check their gardens.
Will be back at the Saw Mills today with several friends and dogs. I noticed no posters are up at the car parking areas on Blanes Lane where lots of people park to walk at the Saw Mills - would you like me to put some up there?

Sorry I live too many miles away to help with the search, but good luck everyone. It could be that Tilly has been slightly injured, and is perhaps hiding in/under bushes. This happened to my cat a few years ago. If there is a chance she has been stolen, make her "TOO HOT TO HANDLE". Paws, and fingers xd.

Quick question - is Tilly a shy or confident dog? Is she more likely to come to other dogs or hide? I walk at the Saw Mills a lot and will be there tomorrow looking out for her. Just wanted to know if she's likely to let me approach her or if my two bouncy dogs might scare her off. Will she come for food? Really hope she comes home soon x

Well done Tillywoo....There will be loads of walkers in the forest over the long week end ...make use of them and maybe hand flyers out and make sure all foot paths have a poster.Try not to pin to trees though ...use string for the trees or brown packing tape is good for posts.X

Hi Tillywoo.. please try to poster everywhere and anywhere you can to get the word out. Also please ensure that you have informed the microchip company that Tilly is missing so they can update their info. Remember to keep in constant contact with the vets, rescue homes and the dog wardens in your area. Also if Tilly has been picked up by someone it often happens that they take them home to their area and then report it so put her info everywhere..here is the link for the dog wardens phone numbers in your and surrounding areas .. http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search/all-dog-warden-phone-numbers. This site is another for Tilly to be registered on and you can check all the 'found' dogs too. Give posters to postmen, milkmen, taxi drivers, bus drivers, ice cream van drivers, schools (children are good at spotting things!), post offices, doctors surgeries etc. POSTER POWER works .. it just takes that one person to see her and ring you. If you or anyone you know is on Facebook ask them to share this page. Same goes for tweeting. Just get the word out to as many people as poss. Hope you get some good news soon.

Near Tesco. I have posters up locally and at three entrances to the forest. Ive heard nothing at all and the micro chip company have not had her reported as found :O(
