Would just like to say that Lola has been found this morning. She has been taken to a friends house whilst Emma is at work, she will be fed and watered and given lots of cuddles and also checked over to ensure that she has not been hurt. Thank you to everyone who has helped look for her, it is greatly appreciated. X

Due to lots of publicity on Facebook, Lola has been spotted near the Claremont pub. My sister, Emma has been out for the past few hours shouting her, but nothing. Please could you look around the area, if you live up that way. Thanks Jamie.

Try going out in the early hrs around the Claremont when it's very quiet. Take your time to call her-and wait a while before moving on- very slowly -around the neighbourhood. Lola will be more likely to respond to a quiet call than a shout, esp. as she'll be bewildered and maybe frightened She might well take some enticing -scared collies can be very nervous, but it sounds as though you're on the right track. Good luck-and hope Lola's home safe very very soon.

So sorry to hear Lola is missing. From this location she could be in so many places so I think it'll be a big poster job. Corner shops are vital,& lamposts in all the small roads in all directions. Ask to put posters in the Health Centre in Monton Street(off Lloyd St N),also MRI complex, the big Citzens'Advice on the corner of Claremont/Princess Rd and shops along that stretch, poster Alex Park, since a lot of dogs find their way there.Ask if you can out a poster in the big Parkway Business Centre next to Alex Park on Princess Rd since they overlook the park. Poster by the small playing fields, around Maine Rd and Platt Fields too, plus around Whitworth park. It's a big area but all are possible routes. If you'd like a hand doing them, let me know. Fingers crossed that Lola is home safe very soon.
