My friend who lives in Sheffield has been to look at the dog they have and just going on photos there is a strong possibility it is her. Apparently she was picked up in Tinsley which is near to a traveller camp so it is possible they moved her and she didn't escape but now she has. Kim and Jo have spent time with Bea so are the best people to make the decision but fingers crossed that against all the odds she has escaped <3

One of the kennels staff at Sheffield City kennels has kindly agreed to have a look at Bea's doglost page and compare with the found dog tomorrow- thank you!

Did she have a sparkly collar on? Just seen a tweet, a black labrador was seen running along the canal from Horsforth to Kirkstall, Leeds. It kept running off but it had a sparkly collar on it apparently. Tweet from @Littlefunkyh
Looking at a map (not knowing the area) the canal goes from Esholt through the places above, if I'm correct.

UPDATE: The dog above was larger than Bea, apparently, with a square head. Sorry.Last edited: 2013-03-31 14:47:27 by Lynne

Rang on first new number. Bea was last seen on Sunday by the volunteers . They have checked around the area . Because of her "beginnings"and her last dwelling area it is hard to access scenting material. I have emailed info & poster to St Leomnards Farm Esholt and Ghyll Beck Driving Range so they can keep a lookout. I hope this poor girl is found soon and hopeully reunited with her rightful ownerLast edited: 2013-03-27 22:28:39 by Merlintrude

I am just going to email you a picture of Bea. This afternoon we have been around Esholt and walked alongside the river but no sightings. We also drove around Baildon and called to Baildon vets but she hasn't been handed in there. I have reported her to both Leeds and Bradford dog warden.
