Thank you everyone. He's the most special and precious boy in the world and we love him very much. Shame the papers like to have their spin on things, and report things that aren't exactly true. However, Oz is safe! Thanks in particular to Gina & Maggie, couldn't have done it without you!! xxx
ClaireC
Lovely to read that you are reunited with your handsome dog. Stay safe and close xx
Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
Thanks for putting that on the page CJ.
Several articles in the press .. if you google 'billionaire's son dog kidnap' you will find all the links. Have to say that it was due to Ozy's owner being very persistent about the prosecution that his original owner was found guilty ..and also that the appeal was won by Ozy's loving owner too. They went to hell and back to see that justice was done. Well done to them! Hope that Ozy stays safe now.

Hi doglost, just a quick note to say that Ozy's story has been published in many national newspapers today. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to comment, and so couldn't say what a wonderful job you had done for us in assisting us with our search for Ozy. I'm sure many of you that were involved will appreciate how odd a case this one was. I've been in contact with Gina this morning who asked me to post a link to the articles on Facebook, but unfortunately the daily mail have taken it a bit far (as is often the case), and have published a photo of me.. So, I've deactivated Facebook for now. If anyone would like to read the articles, go to google and type in 'billionnaire's son dog kidnap' - you should then see a list of the articles!

We'd just like to say a massive thank you to each of you.. You all do a fab job and without you I don't see how we would have got Ozy back, and the justice that he so deserves. Hopefully these articles will again highlight the growing problem of dog theft, which is something!

Apologies for sending this in a message like this, it's not another missing dog... Thanks everyone!
Roseanna Morgan & Joshua Gould

I have found this one in mail.......but I am sure there would be others.

Sorry that Ozzy is still missing. Did you get a Crime Report Ref No for him? Major routes out of this area have good ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition). Based on time of day, there shouldn't have been too many vehicles of this description around. Have you asked the OIC what investigation (if any) has been done?
Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
Thanks Lusher .. we have checked that out and it's not Ozy.
Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
Knightman01 .. can you give us any more details as to where you think you saw Ozy please?

Well done Buzz, you are doing great! Hope you have reported this to the police .. make sure you get a crime number. This page has and is going all over Facebook today fm this site and yr photos. Try to poster everywhere and anywhere you can to get the word out.. you can print direct from his poster page. Remember to keep in constant contact with the vets, rescue homes and the dog wardens in your area in case Ozy has been handed in to them. Also if he has been picked up by someone it often happens that they travel back home to their area and then report it so put his info everywhere..here is the link for the dog wardens phone numbers in your and surrounding areas .. http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search/all-dog-warden-phone-numbers. This site is another for Ozy to be registered on if you hv not done so already and you can check all the 'found' dogs too. Give posters to postmen, milkmen, taxi drivers, bus drivers, ice cream van drivers, schools (children are good at spotting things!), post offices, doctors surgeries etc. POSTER POWER works .. it just takes that one person to see and ring you. You can share and tweet direct fm this page too. Just keep getting the word out to as many people as poss. Hope you get some good news soon. Last edited: 2013-04-01 12:22:51 by Angus

Posted by owner this morning..This morning at 5.35am we allowed our dogs out the back garden of our house! Then someone has stolen our dog Ozzy from our home they came over our back fence and opened our back door so that went out to the back garden where they took him over our fence and ran to a SILVER RANGE ROVER where they drove off! We was unable to get the registration of the car and if anyone sees a chocolate Labrador please let us know! Any help would help! He's a beautiful dog we want him to be safe! Please help!Last edited: 2013-04-01 12:22:51 by Angus
