THANKS TO LOCAL SHOPKEEPER AND MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC, THEY SPOTTED LILLY WITH A COUPLE AND CHALLENGED THEM. THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE BROUGHT HER FOR £80. A QUICK TRIP TO THE VETS FOR A MICROCHIP SCAN PROVED IT WAS LILLY!

Thanks mollyamos for the alert re the found with Rochdale Dog Rescue, they do very often check DL for matches and have made a few. I've had a look and it very similar but don't think it is Lilly, ear carriage is different. I will pass details onto Lilly's owner to have a look.

Yes Andi the details are right, owner only registered her missing details on 30.03.13.

Owner has checked the one out in Leigh:

Aww it does look very similar to Lilly but unfortunatley this isn't her Lillys coat is much curlier and has a lot thinner face xxx

Thanks a million to everyone who is sharing the details. We need to make Lilly too hot to handle. Whoever has her may not know she is a missing dog. Hopefully once the word starts getting spread more sightings will come in and family will get that most important call. x

I've been in contact with Jay who has registed the details on here the possible sighting was with somebody at Asda Widnes Lilly was wearing a pink collar which she was wearing when lost..... Sighted dog was tied outside by a lead.

Thanks Jay for posting the details on behalf of family and the alert via fb. I've updated the details. We do not have Lilly's cross in our breed drop down list, I've changed it from Bichon to Westie as she looks more like a Westie and have added her breed in the name box so it shows up on her poster details.

I will email info/advice to family and contact them a.s.a.p and start sharing across fb. Keeping everything crossed she is found soon. x

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
