- I had a call from a friend who saw Peppers poster to let me know. So it is good that people are seeing them around the area. Please keep a lookout for both Pepper and also Bea - Labrador Cross Id ref 50456 who is also missing around this area --it is very close proximity for BOTH of them.
Essential that the owners do check the stray kennels for both Leeds & Bradford regularly and in person if possible due to the microchip issues - because the area they went missing borders on both Bradford OR Leeds jurisdiction dependant on which way they may have headed. Hope to see both found safe soon xx - 2013-04-01 16:00 Tyler

- I'm very sorry to hear that Pepper is missing. I'm normailly around that area most mornings with my dogs but unfortunately am incapacitated following knee surgery. But my dog walker goes down there with them so I'll ask her to have a good look round. When Pepper went through the gate which direction was she going - into the woods from Ainsbury? I hope she is found soon xx

- I saw a missing poster for Pepper whilst walking my dog so rang to offer help/advice and also to suggest registering with Doglost. Pepper went missing around 9.30am Saturday morning owner thinks she chased after a small animal (rabbit/squirrel) she went under the metal gate at the bottom end of Ainsbury Avenue and ran. Owner could not see her anywhere. They have searched around the area as she was wearing a harness and is a strong possibility she may either have got caught or become stuck in a rabbit hole so does need checking as much as possible. I have also given contact nos for the holding kennels for Bradford and Leeds dog wardens. Advised to contact dog wardens, their vet and the chip co asap so she is flagged up as missing and to also ensure that the contact details are up to date for the chip company. They will try to put her on Facebook .There is a chance the phone no with the chip company needs amending but not sure about this yet until Tuesday She also has a skin problem that needs daily treatment. Went back around the area later this afternoon with my partner and our dog to look around but couldn't see/hear anythng. Hope there is some news of Pepper soon .xx Last edited: 2013-03-31 22:21:58 by Merlintrude

- Sorry to see that PEPPER is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (50631)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
