JUST LETTING EVERYONE KNOW, CLAY THE LITTLE OLD STAFFIE THAT WENT MISSING EASTER SUNDAY IS HOME TODAY, HIS OWNER HAS JUST CALLED ME 10 MINS AGO, HE WAS LIVING IN A HOUSE IN NANSEN RD DANESHOLME, THE OWNER WAS OUT AT THE SHOPS WHEN SHE SAW HIM AND TOOK HIM BACK, THE PERSON THAT HAD HIM LIVED NEXT DOOR TO SMOBODY THAT HAD KNOWN THE OWNER OF CLAY AND CLAY HIMSELF FOR 20YRS AND SAID NOTHING, (IM NOT NAMING ANYONE YET ) BUT THIS LITTLE OLD BOY IS DEFO HOME :) :) , KATH ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SAY A MASSIVE THANKYOU TO EVERYONE XX

The dog thought to be Clay is with a friend of NANNA's so safe for the night :) x

I have a dog brought into kennels tonight at 8.45pm that looks like this one. However, this dog is microchipped with Anibase and they are closed until 9am. Will do a doglost post for him anyway. Could this be the dog that was taken to owners tonight that wasn't Clay or could Clay be chipped and owner not aware?

BAD NEWS~Staffie found (and consequently taken to Clay's owner) is NOT Clay but is his double so now we have a lost AND found :( x

Brogan Connor my lovely daughter found Clay, Brogan loves animals and saw he was missing only today on fb. She spotted him whilst walking through Beanfield estate and just took a chance it was him. She carried him home as he was shaking a little, proceeded to empty my cupboards and feed him :-)). Proud of you Brogan as you have made a family very happy today. Xxxx

Can't make contact with owner at present. Phone just ringing out. Just need to give number for Highways Agency as they cover the A. Roads. I will find out if chipped and wearing a tag.

Colour updated~Clay is very very dark brindle not black. Contact number also updated but the lady doesn't have internet. I've given her neighbour numbers for Council/warden, Forest Lodge, 4 local vets, & taxi companies. I'll contact local radio. Is there anything obvious I've missed?? x
